Today we’d like to introduce you to Eleni Angelis.
Hi Eleni, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My career began as a Fashion Stylist. I have worked with some amazing clients & styled them for many different events. I, however, always enjoyed Home Decor, Especially seasonal & holiday pieces. As a fashion stylist you get to really express yourself through your outfit and how it’s styled. In reality you can also do that with how you style your home as well. In 2019 I dabbled in Personal Shopping for home decor and that’s how Dunn Deals was born. I grew a large following across multiple platforms & shipped out home decor all over the world. I knew I wanted to launch a full-service Seasonal Decor, Home Decor, Gift & Whimsical collectibles Boutique to be able to offer the most unique products that you wouldn’t ever see in big box stores. In the second half of 2020, I went on to officially launch www.elenishops.com & In 2021, I also launched the Dunn Deals shopping APP which is available on the APP Store & Google play. In the last 4 years, there have been over 60,000 packages shipped all over the world. I now have a micro-fulfillment center where we prep – pack & ship from. The first two years of Dunn Deals I pretty much worked 24/7. It’s so surreal and rewarding seeing it all come together to what it is today.
It is a ton of work!!! There’s always bumps along the way. In the early days before I launched the website & APP, I would have to manually invoice customers, and that would take 4-5 hours every single night. Because at the time each item was being personal shopped for. That was aside from having to photograph the product, write about it, Take orders & so on. I remember it was the day after Christmas 2019 and I had over 80 invoice / listings to send, It was absolutely chaotic. I had turned to my husband, Brian & said to him “There has to be an easier way to do this” & That’s when we both brainstormed and created the website. Bumps in the road will always happen but it’s all about how you tackle them, How you automate everything you can so you can continue to grow.

We are a full-service E-commerce Home Decor Boutique that offers the most unique pieces you are able to bring into your home. This year we really focused on bringing the ‘Candyland Christmas’ & ‘PINKMAS’ vision to be a reality in our customers’ homes. It is such a great feeling connecting with our customer base & being tagged in posts of how they are displaying all the items they purchase from us. It makes the long hours & thousands of packages being shipped so very worth it!
We are so excited to go in to 2023 with even more unique pieces!
Make as many connections in your industry as you can. Network, Network, Network! Ask questions & a lot of them! Don’t burn yourself out, As you are your most important asset in your business. Remember it is OKAY to take an hour to yourself when you need it.
