Hidden Gems: Meet Avery Campbell of Made for Abundance

Today we’d like to introduce you to Avery Campbell.

Hi Avery, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’m Avery and I help the client-based business run their business with more ease, fun, and less stress. I grew up in an entrepreneurial family and I am actually a fourth-generation entrepreneur. I think growing up seeing that being my own boss was always an option helped me become the entrepreneur I am today.

When it came to going to college, I wasn’t really sure what I wanted to do with my life, I just knew I wanted to help people. That ended with me changing my major quite a few times from psychology to teaching to business and finally deciding college wasn’t for me.

It has been a journey of figuring out how I wanted to help people while running my own business. I’ve done clothing and jewelry, an online magazine, and landed on being a business coach. Being a coach combines my love for psychology, business, and teaching all into one.

I have never felt more comfortable and at peace than when I’m helping a client better structure their business so they can live a more fulfilling life.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It has definitely been a challenge being an entrepreneur. I know you hear the usual sacrifices of losing sleep, not going out with friends, and not spending a lot of money, but it is more than that.

You have to do a lot of healing and growth in order to be a successful entrepreneur. When you ignore your trauma, it spills over into your business and can cause you to be reckless, have no boundaries, and more.

I’ve done more healing and more therapy since being a business owner than any other time in my life. Being your own boss brings up a lot of negative feelings and you have to make sure you are handling them correctly and taking care of yourself if you want to properly take care of business.

We’ve been impressed with Made for Abundance, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Made for Abundance is a coaching program that focuses on the person first and the entrepreneur second. A lot of times we only invest in being a better business owner and not being a better person.

With this program, we make sure that your business is structured around you and the lifestyle that you want to live.

This program is best for people who have client-based businesses, such as hair stylists, photographers, coaches, nail techs, virtual assistants, etc. We go through the process of restructuring your business, marketing, and content strategy so that you love your business just as much as your clients do.

When clients are finished with the program, they have better systems and strategies for their business that makes it easier for them to market their business, create content, get clients automatically, and be able to actually have the financial freedom that they have been searching for since they first started their business.

We do this by going through my 3-step framework of identity, create, and sustain. We lay out exactly how you want your business to look and then design the strategies and systems to create and sustain your new and improved business model.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
The coaching industry is a big shift right now.

A lot of people are moving from long-term coaching programs to quick sessions and VIP experiences. I think people are tired of broken promises, long-term lies, and coaching in general. There are a lot of scammers, so people are even more cautious of who they are investing in.

In the next 5-10 years, I can see coaching becoming a more regulated industry, more group coaching programs but with a very small group of 5-10 people, and VIP Days. I think long-term 1:1 coaching programs are going to become a thing of the past.
