Exploring Life & Business with Manny Larcher of Stopwatch Creative

Today we’d like to introduce you to Manny Larcher.

Hi Manny, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Thank You for the feature! My entrepreneurship journey is one that was not planned or expected. My Mom, Veronica, worked at the Department of Education for nearly two decades, where she held various positions until retirement. Growing up, my Dad, Andrew, was a musician in a reggae band, Identity, which had a lot of success as they toured around the East coast, and the Caribbean, however, the group broke up over bad business decisions and in 1995, my parents moved to their homeland, St. Lucia, to be closer to the rest of our family. I stayed there until late 2000 when we moved to Hilliard, Ohio – a suburb outside of Columbus.

Now in my early 30s, I realize that it was this experience that truly shaped my entrepreneurship desire. I studied Business in College and fell in love with marketing and the creative side of sharing ideas that inspire action. My first ‘career’ job was in the Finance industry, where I began to teach myself web design and development during my off-hours. I used this new “tech knowledge” to help a local political servant get elected as a State Rep, built the NAACP of Columbus, Ohio website, and then out of a need to express my interests in music and entertainment, I launched YourInfoDaily.com, to highlight under-appreciated artists in late 2014.

I continued to work in the non-profit and startup space developing my skillset, and in 2017, with Lenny Burkett, a designer by trade, we started Stopwatch Creative, a full-service marketing and operations agency, building tech in-house. Now in our fifth year, we have worked with clients all over the US and have traveled to Europe to meet with our customers. We continue to stay grounded on what we love, incubating SaaS products and podcasts and offering our mentorship to students around the Country.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
My journey has been met with routine road bumps, potholes, and other detours. From losing my best friend and sister, Dreaddi Larcher, to a rare form of cancer, to going through a relationship breakup, or balancing my own health and keeping up with family, friends, and industry events, there are many challenges that I have experienced. I’m grateful for my relationship and trust with God as well as my support network.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Stopwatch Creative is a consulting agency designing and developing technology and implementing various marketing strategies to help the brands we work with grow. We are helping over 200 businesses connect with opportunities with CollaborateandElevate.com, and feature business leaders on our podcast ItsBiggerThanBusiness.com, with co-host Danny Ortiz.

Stopwatch Creative specializes in implementing various marketing tactics to help our clients achieve their goals by working independently or with their existing teams. We develop technology solutions from simple websites like WordPress, Squarespace, Weebly, and Wix as well as custom solutions in web2 and web3. We helped our clients stay innovative producing incredible results in our five years since starting for example; scaling teams and businesses, assisting in acquisitions, coordinating an international marketing campaign, and more! The value and knowledge we share with our clients set us apart from others. We are proud to volunteer and give back to nonprofits like Think Make Live Youth and LifeSmart Education.

Our goal is to change the narrative that most businesses fail and provide the best brand experience for growth.

How do you think about happiness?
Having my family and friends in good health is what makes me the happiest. Enjoying the time with my loved ones is everything to me. My why is to see my loved ones happy.
