Daily Inspiration: Meet Sevyn The Sag

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sevyn The Sag.

Hi Sevyn, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Ever since a young age, I have always been the out-going kid that always found herself in the spotlight. From modeling, acting, even attending performing arts school. I always had a passion to be something bigger. I began trying out different activities, which led me to music. Starting in March of 2021, I began making music and testing out different genres of music, such as Hip-Hip/Rap, Pop and even R&B.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
In the beginning, I wasn’t very confident in my music but I was always confident in myself. I never had a doubt in my mind that I couldn’t do music, but I was afraid of failure. There was a point where I felt my music wasn’t good enough for people to like until I went on Blue Girls Club, hosted by rapper Blueface, I received so much positive feedback from everyone that it built my confidence even more. Once I was able to have the same confidence I had with myself with my craft any problem that has come my way has been nothing but another challenge that I will overcome.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a new, up-and-coming Hip-Hop artist. I’ve always been called “The Jack of All Trades”, no matter what I put my mind to I have been able to do so. This time around, I am known as, Sevyn The Sag, the artist. What sets me apart from everyone else is how I carry myself and my music career. I am a very free-spirited person. Never been the type to care what others have thought about me and I’ve always done my own thing. My music helps me express myself all while bringing my fans and people who can relate to me closer to me.
