Today we’d like to introduce you to Precious Smith.
Hi Precious, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
It’s never easy to pick a place to explain my story because there are so many moments that have played a great deal in who I am today.
Born and raised here in sunny South Florida by two amazing parents that understood co-parenting. My amazing hardworking mother raised me to understand what it means to be A Strong Woman in every aspect of those words. My awesome, hardworking father is one that taught me not to make excuses and get it done, even as a jokester.
With that being said let’s start here, I was a teenage mother that graduated high school and even college. Statistically, the odds were against me, but I’ve learned that it’s these things that activate the beast in me. My heart is pure and my love for helping people lead me into healthcare. I spent over 15 years exploring my options in hopes of being “that” change I felt was needed in this field. I went on to nursing school and consciously dedicated time to elevating myself along my journey in healthcare.
I do not think that I can truly put into words how much I enjoyed being the beacon of light to every single patient/person that I encouraged along the way in my role in the healthcare industry. “My” patients were my motivation to get up daily and make every hour spent on the clock amazing. As life started to make a change and to be quite honest, my patients started to see greater for me, more than what I saw in myself at times, I decided to explore many other avenues to fulfill what I know now is my purpose in life.
As a little girl, I always had the entrepreneurial itch/mindset but didn’t understand it until now.
In 2018, I pass the Florida state exam and became a Licensed Realtor and in 2019, I took a leap of faith and retired from healthcare. Today, I am a mother of two amazing children, ages 18 & 11 (who are both young entrepreneurs). I am “Precious Smith, PA or better known as Your Precious Realtor,” a top-producing real estate professional at Elite Realty Partners.
I am an author as I’ve had the pleasure of publishing my first of many books; SMILE: The bend to your breakthrough and a serial entrepreneur and manager of my children’s businesses as well. I am passionate about being the difference that is needed in a world where smiling is obsolete and Integrity is almost extinct.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Smooth, lol what does that mean? I truly feel that God coined me to be the one to endure the storm upfront so that I know my strengths because nothing seems to come easy. As mentioned, when the odds are against me, the beast arises in me. Being a single teenage mother was one of my biggest hurdles.
I learned the true meaning of sacrifice and selfless love. Putting my dreams to the side, balancing work, motherhood, and school all while trying to truly understand the role of a mother. Another hurdle was being in the workforce at a young age and facing the many obstacles that come with being a young, black ambitious woman among older individuals that just did not understand my drive and purpose.
Lastly, being the risk-taker in the family and leaping into a saturated industry like real estate without any lifelines or plan B. If you know what is going on in this real estate market, you know that you truly have to have the mindset to shift and adjust to sustain.
Having experienced these things and more I’m grateful because it makes the victories that much more worth it.

As an elite realtor, it’s true passion over profit. My clients instantly become family when they are united with me on their real estate journey. Naturally, I love to see people win.
My passion for helping people goes beyond what I did in healthcare and do in real estate. I’m blessed to give even when I don’t have anything to give but my SMILE and the clothes on my back. I’ve learned a simple smile can instantly change someone’s life. My smile is what sets me apart from the others.
It’s a reflection of who I truly am and I’ve found my purpose because of it. I am most proud that I have stepped fully into my purpose selflessly to service people in any capacity. I know that this is just the beginning.
