Daily Inspiration: Meet Eliza D. Lopez

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eliza D. Lopez.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I was born in Massachusetts, spent half of my youth in the Dominican Republic where I was molded to speak Spanish properly, learned etiquette from how to eat at a table, walk in heels, have mannerism, sow, cook, and become a very well rounded young lady. I finished high school in Lawrence, MA. with honors, attended and graduated college in Orlando, FL. My father wanted me to become a doctor but my mother wanted for me to study Law, and so, I studied Law.

Once I obtain my Bachelors I realized that Law was not my passion therefore, I went back to school to study business at FIU in Miami, FL. In the course of my business degree I was hired at a Marketing firm as an Account Manager within a year my work ethic landed me a role as an Associate Director. In the meantime, I longed for more knowledge to expand my horizons within the business industry and living in Miami I learned so much about Real Estate that I went for my license and have now been successfully serving South Florida (Miami-Dade & Broward Counties) for the last seven years. My clients range from luxury properties to helping and guiding first time home buyers on making the biggest decision of their lives. If you’re looking to buy, sell, rent, or invest… my name is Eliza D. Lopez, and I am an experience Realtor here to help you. @Realtor_Eliza

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road was not always easy as I was the first to attend and graduate college in my family so I didn’t have much guidance. I wanted to make my parents proud and with my father passing I chose a career that would make my mother happy without acknowledging my own desires. Changing majors, experiencing the “Real world” after college was an eye opener. Through those experiences I realized that what made me happy was in the field of… entrepreneurship, business, and real estate. In real estate there’s a lot to learn but through all the hurdles I took the time to correct the mistakes I did at the beginning and time to master my craft.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a licensed Realtor in South Florida. I specialize and I am known for working with buyers from high end clients to Millennials purchasing their first properties. I am proud of successfully selling a few million dollar properties. What sets me apart from others is that I take every transaction personal, my clients get all of my attention, I am always available to them no matter the time of the day and I keep every communication very transparent. I put myself in their shoes and when working with a Realtor I know that me personally, I’d like a realtor that would take my transaction and make it theirs because by doing so I will get the most for my purchase/sale.
