Hi Ana and Teddy, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started Teddy’s Instagram page for fun and started to show his viewers all the pet-friendly locations South Florida has to offer. I realized that his viewers were being entertained and enjoyed discovering new places with us, so I created a job for Teddy to be a Tour Guide. I wanted to help my hospitality industry friends since they were so affected because of Covid-19, so I started with pet-friendly hotels and then expanded to restaurants and shopping. I also love street art, so I show as much of that as possible.
We show his viewers locations from Palm Beach County all the way to Monroe County.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as relatively smooth road?
The biggest challenge has been changing careers. I had been in the event planning industry since the age of 18. So creating all the social media channels and the blog have been a challenge but extremely rewarding and I wouldn’t change a thing.

Teddy has his own series on My Fort Lauderdale Beach, where he shows the viewers pet-friendly spots all around the Fort Lauderdale Beach. We use a hashtag called #TourwithTeddy, and we want people to use it to show us their favorite pet-friendly location in their own town so it can be helpful when people start to travel again with their pets.
