Hi Alicia, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Well, I’m originally from Argentina, I came to this country 11 years ago to meet my husband in person, we were chatting for a year through the Facebook chat and some phone calls, after I arrived here, we married in less than a month and I can say that He is my soulmate and a blessing to my life, and a good father to my children. I‘ve been a professional bodybuilder and also a trainer for a long time, more than 25 years, but a few years ago, I have to say in 2017, I discovered my passion for antiques and home decor, I started searching for places and books, And also creating some rustic pieces and as much as I learned I felt more passion for decor.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Yes, it’s not easy to try to sell antiques, decor and paints today there’s too much competition.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I basically do art, home decor is art, but is easy when you buy all that stuff in a store, the real home decor is when you put unique pieces that you are restoring or make with another antiques pieces, I also do my own paints, I do my sewing I’m proud that I can make unique pieces, you are not going to find easily.
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I consider myself as a blessed there is some good times and not that good sometimes, but the most important thing is if you love what you are doing.
