Today we’d like to introduce you to Jean Fallacara.
Hi Jean, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Mindset Creator, Author, Biohacker, Athlete, and Serial Entrepreneur with a disruptive mindset. The most intriguing comment I get: You’re one of a kind Person. Some would take honesty negatively, but I am an eternal positive thinker and candidly perceive this as unique and distinctive. This describes well my story, my life, and my personality. I am made of outstanding qualities, flaws, interests, and convictions that set me apart from others.
As a kid, it was a struggle, but growing up, I embraced it and felt that this individuality should be celebrated. Born in France, my Italian Parents named me Gianni; since I grew up in France, it turned out to be Jean, and later to Jon in North America. But it is just a name. So you can call me Dude, Bro, hey, or whatever you like, as long as there’sthere’s respect behind it. Unlucky to be a gifted Child with an IQ:167 and suffering from ADD by night and ADHD by day.
I have always been a “Hacker” more in the sense of a Lifehacker rather than a computer one, putting energy into optimizing every aspect of my life. Do everything better. (than other or not) Obviously, with these, I struggled with paying attention in class, following instructions, responding to authorities, and staying on track with long-term projects or activities. Not only as a child but still today. Like a cat, I’veI’ve lived nine lives: a D.J., Punk Movement activist, Car Racer, Skydiver, and Skateboarder… Most importantly just a true lover of life.
My entire life, I have always preferred being alone, not that I have difficulty making friends. It is more a feeling of getting the time I need for introspection, learning, or activities that makes friendship challenging. Since I do not watch T.V. or news on the Web, I spend most of my time studying, creating, and building various machines, concepts, or projects. As an “adrenaline junky” or “thrill-seeker,” I chased intense physical and emotional experiences that pushed my limits, often in activities that involved high speed, heights, dangerous environments, or other extreme conditions.
Motivated by a desire to experience the rush of adrenaline and the feeling of being alive, to test my physical and mental abilities, maybe to escape boredom or routine, or to challenge myself (only a psychiatrist will tell). While I was often seen as a risk-taker, all the extreme sports I practiced were with calculated risks and priority on safety measures. Of course, my childhood behaviors were reflected later in my entrepreneurial life. This is the topic I want to discuss in my next book, the neuroscience of taking Risks.
As a Hacker, in my life, I have always been a strong advocate of getting control of the brain, consciousness & body to improve performance, focus, wellness, and longevity. Despite being alone, but not suffering loneliness, I can ignite people’s powerful inner fire to create the bright future they’ve always dreamed of. Most people don’t even know they have talent!
If you lead them in shaping effective development for their future, they grow to their full potential. Regarding my studies, I graduated in biochemistry, then genetics and immunology, and later went for law & finances, a few years ago in neurosciences, and most recently in A. I and VR/XR at MIT. I can’t beat this constant learning need, an infinite quest for knowledge. Some think I am a Visionary Disruptor; I think I am the Master of Chaos, Risk & Figuring it out.
Objectively, knowledge is only the collection of information, understanding, skills, and experience acquired through learning, study, or experience. IT IS NOT FREE and has NO SHORT CUTS. The knowledge and awareness of facts, ideas, concepts, principles, and theories enable individuals to make informed decisions, solve problems, and take action in various situations. In summary, knowledge is an individual’s intellectual capital, and it empowers them to navigate the world around them, make informed decisions, and solve problems.
That is why intelligence is the ability to change & leadership is I.Q., not Skills. Today I think that what I felt as problems as a Kid, ADD, and a decent I.Q., just gave me the most significant opportunity one can dream of: Be a versatile person driven by passions for Sciences, Philosophy, Art, Psychology, and Artificial Intelligence, but mainly, understanding that our world needs more power for HUMANS.
That is what brings us to today, a bit older, I became deeply committed to understanding and improving the lives of others. They have a strong desire to help people and are driven by empathy and compassion. The wide variety of interests and skills I mastered in growing up allowed me to come closer to my goal and purpose for life: Making a positive difference in the world.
I’m proud of one of these AHA moments. Back in 2012, as an entrepreneur, I was trying to develop a lower cost Freezer with a particular technology- Money was the goal. But in June 2012, devastating news came to my attention; Harvard Medical lost 28 years of research on Autistic Brains after a failure of their Freezer and Millions of dollars. That was it! Forget the money! I shifted my mind and project and came up with a breakthrough technology name Twincore that guaranteed no other cold storage sample will ever be lost in scientific research.
I did not patent anything, came up with a higher cost, and got copied by a dozen manufacturers years later. And this is the beauty of free competition: If you don’t innovate, you’ll disappear! So, changing the subject but keeping focus, in 2020, I acquired the magazine Biohackers Magazine. This publication provides information on biohacking, health, and wellness and helps people optimize their health and performance through biohacking techniques.
The future is there! And still, in the storytelling repertoire, I need to tell you that because of being bored during Covid, I wrote a Book dubbed Neurosciences Calisthenics that covers a wide range of topics related to neuroscience & life optimization, including brain structure and function, neural signaling, perception, learning and memory, emotions, consciousness, and the effects of sports, drugs or circadian rhythms on the brain.
Finally, in 2021, My Biotech Group, Z-Sciences Corp, was acquired by inTEST Thermal- [NYSE: INTT]. This brought me from Canada to the USA, firstly in Boston and recently in Miami, which was a personal choice. And it was Miami, specifically Brickell, because, in my mind, the city you live in can profoundly impact your life, shaping your thoughts, emotions, and behavior in ways you may not even realize. So I needed to raise the bar, enhance creative thinking and enjoy the sunrises!
Remember that “”𝘌𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘥𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘸𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦, 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘤𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘭𝘺 𝘰𝘳 𝘴𝘶𝘣𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘤𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘭𝘺, 𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘧𝘵𝘴 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘣𝘪𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘺 𝘵𝘰𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘤𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨 and impacts 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘣𝘰𝘥𝘺 𝘤𝘭𝘰𝘤𝘬””
I’m sure you wouldn’twouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a reasonably smooth road?
Unfortunately, the life of an entrepreneur is typically a challenging road. But it remains a choice. Each day you have options. Unfortunately, humans often forget that we are responsible for whatever happens. If you choose to be Entrepreneur, you must be driven by passion first, not money. It would be best to have that character trait of not accepting everything from others, including authority.
Starting and running a business involves facing numerous challenges and obstacles, including financial pressures, competition, market fluctuations, staffing issues, and more. These challenges can be stressful, overwhelming, and time-consuming, sometimes leading to failure. However, resilience is critical for entrepreneurs, as it allows them to persist in the face of adversity and bounce back from setbacks.
Resilience enables entrepreneurs to remain focused, motivated, and optimistic, even when things are not going well. It also helps them to learn from their failures and mistakes and to use those experiences to make better decisions in the future. In short, while the entrepreneurial journey is not always smooth, resilience is essential to help entrepreneurs overcome challenges and succeed.
Thanks for sharing that. So, next, can you tell us more about your work?
I consider myself a Renaissance person, some Dandy, a polymath, or a multi-disciplinary thinker. I cover a broad range of activities, Going from sports with my program Train Like A Cyborg on the Cyborggainz A. I have driven the platform to Peak performances on my Instagram @cyborggainz to Sciences,& biohacking with the magazine Biohackers magazine or Life optimization with my podcast No Plan-B to finally business consulting, merger acquisition, or investments. I keep myself busy, but still not too much, so that I can write my other book.
I have an infinite passion for Street Art & art in general. Been collecting art for over 25 years and know all street artists. If I had a dream to achieve before dying, it would be to understand conscientiousness. And also ensuring we know that ADD or ADHD is not an illness. It is a superpower; it allowed me to excel in various roles and situations when I learned how to master it with the Flow States.
Social inputs, media, and useless data flooding our brains brainwash us. Educating the world is the priority. Awareness, Purpose, and Health! Having a life on purpose, staying interested in exploring different fields of knowledge and understanding the world around us, or how science can be used to solve practical problems. Let’sLet’s CREATE THE FUTURE. with learning, communication, and collaboration.
Increased knowledge: Access to information can help people become more knowledgeable about various issues, including health, education, human rights, and the environment. This can lead to better decision-making and informed choices.
Improved communication: Communication is essential for building relationships, resolving conflicts, and fostering understanding among people. Promoting effective communication can reduce misunderstandings and create a more peaceful world.
Enhanced collaboration: Information and communication technologies can facilitate cooperation between people across different geographic locations, enabling them to work together on shared goals and projects.
Empowerment: Access to information and communication can empower people, particularly those in marginalized communities, to participate in decision-making processes and advocate for their rights.
However, it’s essential to recognize that information and communication alone are insufficient to create a better world. Other factors such as political stability, social justice, environmental sustainability, and economic development are also crucial.
My biggest project: V.R. & A.I. Our Future, is in virtual reality and immersive experiences. As technology advances, we see more and more applications of V.R. and immersive technology in various industries, including media and entertainment. I envision our work being more immersive, creating virtual reality articles where readers can experience the story in a fully immersive 3D environment. This could include interactive elements and the ability to explore different parts of the story in more detail.
Another possibility is the use of immersive experiences in educational talks or publications. For example, readers or listeners could explore different locations, experiences, or concepts through V.R. or augmented reality, making the learning experience more engaging and interactive. Overall, it’s clear that technology will continue to play a significant role in shaping the future. So let’s keep being innovative & creating for the years to come.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Innovate, Create, or disappear- I came up with this motto almost two decades ago, and it still stands today. Success can be defined in many ways, and different qualities or characteristics may be essential depending on the context. However, one factor is crucial to success: perseverance or grit. The ability to persist in the face of challenges and setbacks and to maintain the motivation and effort needed to achieve long-term goals allows entrepreneurs to overcome obstacles, learn from failures, and continue to work toward their objectives despite setbacks.
Research has shown that individuals who demonstrate high levels of perseverance are more likely to achieve their goals, whether in education, sports, or business. They are also more resilient and better able to adapt to changing circumstances, which can be particularly valuable in today’s rapidly changing world. But, of course, perseverance alone is not enough for success. Creativity, intelligence, and social skills are critical components of success.
