Hi Cynthia, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Ever since I was very young, I always wanted to have my own business but never knew what it should be about. My grandfather was a successful entrepreneur and became my source of inspiration to have a business of my own. During high school, I grew a fascination for medicine which led me to being on the pre-med track in college. However, in the back of my mind, I always felt that I needed to have a business background to broaden my knowledge on different subjects such as marketing, accounting, finance, and economics to be able to understand the world around me. Therefore, I majored in Marketing as it incorporated courses from a variety of business subject areas. Then, when the COVID-19 pandemic hit close to home I started using social media more often for fun resulting in my knowledge on how to brand oneself, gain more followers, and receive more exposure to grow. With these skill sets, I decided I could create my own social media marketing agency as it is valuable and creatively entertaining. I believe social media marketing is useful for all types of businesses and I enjoy helping others expand their businesses and by creating awareness online.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
There are always some bumps in the road when you start a new business, but little by little it’s progressing in the direction I want it to go in. It’s important to remember patience is key.

Personally, I strive to become the best version of myself and since I also enjoy helping others, this led me to resonate with the name “Aim Social Agency” as a company name.
