Conversations with Ana Luisa Da Corte

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ana Luisa Da Corte. Them and their team share their story with us below:

Fitnessfordummies found her purpose in motivating others to follow a healthy lifestyle while enjoying the process. Four years ago, Ana Luisa discovered her passion for cooking, exercising, and living to the fullest. She understood that being healthy does not have to be boring, that healthy does not mean skinny, and that health not only involves the physical body but also mental health, self-care, and much more.

Today Fitness for Dummies confirms that working on what she loves pays off every day and that helping others is a privilege. She now connects daily with her online community through Instagram where she shares innovative brands, products, recipes, and the normal ups and downs of living a healthy, balanced life.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it has not been a smooth road. I have had a lot of ups and downs. Life is not a straight line, it has obstacles that we are going to deal with throughout the process. Not having a job, being a part of my family, my dad had cancer during a pandemic and broke up with my relationship. All these have been obstacles that my mind was all over the place. Eating healthy does not mean that you are a healthy person.

There are much more things that being a healthy person involves. Also, Social media sometimes cannot help with the process. We start comparing our journeys with others’ journeys and there is when the problem starts. Each person has her/his own pace. Being consistent and being you has been one of the keys to my journey, even though life is not cooperating.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I work with an interior design company as a marketing specialist. I graduated in marketing and my master’s was in International Business. What I am most proud of me is that I have fought with every obstacle in my life with the best attitude. When I want to get something, I work towards it until I get it with a lot of discipline a consistency.

What do you think about luck?
It is a phrase that people tend to say hoping they will succeed. I think having good luck does not make you succeed. Good luck is part of the process but what is going to bring you luck and make you succeed is discipline, consistency, and a lot of love putting in the work.
