Today we’d like to introduce you to Darryl Brown.
Hi Darryl, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I got my start making music originally… then expanded into the fashion industry as a stylist and designer.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Well, some struggles that have came along the way have been first and foremost having a family at a very young age and balancing developing my passions and being a father/husband in his early 20’s.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a recording artist but also the lead stylist for Damari Savile, a custom clothing company that is also taking its first foray into ready-to-wear this year, I am also the Co-founder & creative Director for my own apparel and accessories line Public Equity Functional Materials Co. which we have just recently dropped our first collection for. I have also made my first foray into acting as the lead on an independent film entitled Eyes Of Deception.
