Check Out Nory Aronfeld’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nory Aronfeld.

Nory, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Hello, my name is Nory Aronfeld. I am a music producer and recording artist. I make mostly hip hop but have released two electronic projects that have amassed thousands of listeners on all platforms. I first began producing not long ago, and my short but ever-growing journey into music has show and taught me many things about myself and the surrounding community. It has been roughly two years since I began pursuing music.

I am an 18-year-old sophomore in college who initially began university studying political science but has since moved fully into music production and exploring my endless passion for music. I would love to be able to share a lot about my story and journey so far, as well as my dreams and aspirations and how I have navigated through the Miami community as well.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Since I began my music journey recently, I would say the main obstacle would be how Covid has impacted my ability to perform at venues and meet up with local artists. Although the situation is improving, it was hard to garner the relationships and physical activities that are so crucial to establishing a name for yourself as an up-and-coming artist.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I have an upcoming hip-hop project that I know will surprise a lot of people. I produced, mixed, mastered, and fully created the entire album and cannot wait to release it. There are various influences such as Kanye West, Pharrell, and even A$AP Rocky that have helped shape my approach to the creation of the project and music in general. I believe there are very few artists such as myself, with the specific genres and realms of music that I have explored around the country but especially within Miami.

Many Miami artists are making very similar reggaeton, trap-inspired pop songs and I create an entirely different style of music that I have found very uncommon in our community.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I think a lot of people don’t know that I learned music production so recently. Everyday since I began producing, I haven’t gone a second without thinking about my music and how I can take it to the next level. I am constantly trying to improve and study music production, sound design and music theory and am completely obsessed with the art entirely.
