Story & Lesson Highlights with Taylor Dante of Dania Beach

We recently had the chance to connect with Taylor Dante and have shared our conversation below.

Taylor, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What do you think is misunderstood about your business?
One thing people always misunderstand about being an influencer is how much work actually goes into it.
It’s not just taking cute photos and posting online — it’s planning shoots, editing, negotiating with brands, analyzing insights, and constantly creating content that feels authentic but still performs.

People see the highlight reel, not the hours behind it. It’s fun, yes, but it’s also a full-time job. There’s a strategy behind every ‘casual’ post, and plenty of late nights making it all come together.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
As a digital content creator and influencer, I’ve had the opportunity to partner with incredible brands to create authentic, engaging campaigns that blend my love for food, travel, and lifestyle. Over the years, I’ve built a loyal community and reached millions of viewers across my platforms — something I’m endlessly grateful for.

Through my brand TAYstyTravels, I’ve been recognized as one of Miami’s top rising influencers, earning the Up & Comer Award and a spot on the “Top 11 Must-Follow Miami Influencers” list. My content is all about color, joy, and flavor — whether it’s a TAYsty recipe, a new destination, or a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who taught you the most about work?
Definitely my sister, Harley. She’s one of the hardest-working and most dedicated people I know, and I’ve always admired how confident she is in everything she does. Watching her has taught me so much about showing up fully and believing in myself — lessons I carry with me in my own business.

What fear has held you back the most in your life?
Honestly, imposter syndrome. Even now, I still have moments where I can’t believe the opportunities I’ve had or the brands I get to collaborate with. But I’ve learned to quiet that voice by focusing on the hard work and dedication that brought me here for a reason.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What’s a cultural value you protect at all costs?
Authenticity. No matter how much things grow or change, I always want my content — and my energy — to feel real.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
I’d stop staying in one place. I’d travel the world with the people I love most and soak up every experience together.
