Hi Sebastian, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is V12 and I am artist from Miami! I started making R&B music in 2020 because I sound like Drake and in 2021 I made my first reggaeton track and I haven’t looked back since. I have released over 30+ tracks and my latest release won me a Sync deal with the Miami Heat that they recently use for their campaign called ¡Dale Heat!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I think my struggle is having the funds to put money behind my music and content. I have always invested in creating the music and creating the content but when I post it I need a marketing budget.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am just a hometown kid from Miami that makes Miami inspired music. I specialize in singing my a** off 😅 I am known for making fun party music. I am most proud of my latest release. To be a kid from Miami and the players get introduce to my song is a dream come true! What sets me apart is that I am not only just an artist, I am also a live streamer that is building a community everyday!
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I think life is all about taking risk because if you stay still in one place you will never grown! No risk no reward. Of course there is risks that are life ending but we don’t take those. But I do believe in taking risks. When I got let go from my job from the heat I took the risk to become and live streamer and focus only on music and look a year later the players get introduced to my song!
