T-Ro is an artist on the rise from Miami, Fl that thrives off storytelling & lyricism… He has opened up for Kendrick Lamar, DJ Khaled, meek mill, future, 2chainz & the late Nipsey Hussle just name a few…His song/video “Final Thoughts” made it onto BET & Bet jamz…T-Ro has been Played & featured on local radio stations like “103.5 the beat” where he won the Jack Daniels “Who’s Next” Contest 2 times in a row …He’s Been On other syndicated radio stations also like Shade45 & numerous videos on “Worldstar Hiphop”…T-Ro released a single in 2017 titled “Tax” featuring Tory Lanez that landed him national attention…He’s also performed at “Rolling Loud, The Atlanta New Years Peach Drop & the 103.5 beatdown concert, just to name a few…He’s also the owner of a lifestyle brand “Gold Cigar Gang Clothing” which can be found online or at particular stores …
Please tell us about your art.
I consider myself as an inspirational lyricist. I try to encourage people to find and follow the gifts that God has given them through the art of storytelling. God has given me a gift to use creative lyrics to tell a story that most people can relate to. I want people to strive for greatness, and that’s the takeaway that I hope people get from my music.
Choosing a creative or artistic path comes with many financial challenges. Any advice for those struggling to focus on their artwork due to financial concerns?
This is probably one of the biggest challenges as an independent artist or as an entrepreneur trying to chase their dream. It takes a lot of perseverance and determination to keep working on something for endless hours every day and not receiving a paycheck at the end of the week. But if you continue to perfect your craft and maintain consistency, your value will increase and opportunities will continue to present with financial gain.
