Today we’d like to introduce you to Sunny Fonseca.
Sunny, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started my career in the mortgage industry during the financial crisis because I wanted to help clients achieve the dream of homeownership. You could say survived the true test of time in an industry that is ever-changing and has gone through major ups and downs. With that experience though, I have gained knowledge and expertise that can only be acquired by going through those times and that’s something I really pride myself on. I truly enjoy working with families and helping them achieve their homeownership goals and I am passionate about providing the best mortgage and financial information available. My goal is to educate and guide families through the home buying process and ultimately into financial freedom.
The greatest feeling I have is when my clients call me to tell me “Sunny, thank you, we never thought about purchasing a home until we met you.”
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Anything you build is going to have struggles. In the beginning, it was brutal, the sharks I came across to the mentors I came across. Finding out my own strengths and weaknesses and then learning to capitalize on those is part of a learning process and always evolving.
Anyone who says building something from nothing has been a smooth road isn’t being honest with themselves.
Please tell us about Mortgages with Sunny – what should we know?
My mission is to make homeownership financing possible for those that want it and to put current homeowners into the best financial position they can be in.
I’m fortunate that in my current company, I’m able to cater to all clients from first time home buyers to clients with multi-million dollar homes. What I’m most proud of is when I’m able to sit at the closing table with a new homeowner that thought they may not get a home at all or didn’t think they’d qualify.
We really try to make the process as simple as possible and get as many people to realize the dream of homeownership as we can.
What are your plans for the future?
Expansion.
To build my empire, to help others grow and be one of the most successful mortgage broker and mentor in South Florida and I think I’m set up to do just that.
