Inspiring Conversations with Jessica Lagomarsino of Cusp of Something

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Lagomarsino.

Hi Jessica, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I have always been drawn to the intersection of vision and execution, that space where big ideas meet the practical steps to bring them to life. My journey began long before I ever called Miami home. I spent a decade living abroad in Italy, working in tourism and higher education, and eventually transitioning into healthcare strategy when I returned to the U.S. During that time, I earned my MBA as I moved to Miami in the middle of the pandemic, which became both a challenge and a turning point.

After years of building strategies for other organizations, I realized the same principles could be used to help women create businesses that are both soul led and successful. That is how Cusp of Something began, a consultancy dedicated to helping female entrepreneurs merge inner work with tactical strategy so they can grow without burnout. I believe your personal story is your greatest asset in business, and I have built my work around helping women lead with their humanity while creating sustainable systems for growth.

Home base is in Miami, but I serve clients all over the world. My mission is to guide women in building the kind of life and business they are excited to wake up to, rooted in purpose, aligned with their values, and structured for success.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has definitely not been a perfectly smooth road. I think any meaningful path has seasons that test you. For me, there were times of deep personal transition alongside building my career, including moving countries, adapting to a new culture, and starting over in a new city. There were also the quieter challenges, like learning to trust my own voice in industries that often wanted me to follow a more conventional path.

Starting and growing Cusp of Something required me to unlearn the belief that success has to come through constant hustle. I had to shift from measuring my worth by how busy I was to creating from alignment, which is a daily practice. Those experiences are what make my work so personal to me now. I know what it feels like to be in a season of change and still want to build something extraordinary, and I get to help my clients move through those same moments with more clarity and confidence.

As you know, we’re big fans of Cusp of Something. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Cusp of Something is where vision meets execution. I help heart-led entrepreneurs build businesses that are rooted in purpose, aligned with their values, and designed for sustainable growth. My work blends the deep inner shifts that unlock clarity with the strategic systems that turn ideas into results. Clients come to me when they are ready to grow without sacrificing their energy, creativity, or joy.
I am known for bringing both heart and precision to the table. I can map out a growth strategy and just as easily guide a breakthrough conversation about self-trust and the bigger vision driving the work. This balance is what allows my clients to create businesses that feel as good to run as they do to share with the world.

Brand wise, I am proud that Cusp of Something has become a space where ideas are nurtured, voices are heard, and bold action is encouraged. Through private consulting, digital resources, and workshops, I help clients turn their vision into something tangible, profitable, and built to last.

What does success mean to you?
For me, success is living in full alignment with your vision and having the courage to bring it to life. It is building a business that fuels you instead of drains you, one that gives you the freedom to create, to choose, and to live on your own terms. It is the quiet confidence of knowing your work is changing lives, even in ways you may never see.

True success is not just a number or a milestone. It is the deep satisfaction of waking up excited about what you are building and proud of who you are becoming along the way. It is the harmony of purpose, impact, and joy, and that is what I help my clients claim for themselves.
