Hi Dr. Mesa, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I tried to find a job in Miami after graduating college in Colombia because there is a predominantly Latin community there and reminds me of my home country.
Since I graduated during the 2009 recession, I couldn’t find a job in Miami, so I went North to New York and New Jersey. I figured if I couldn’t find a job in Miami, I would open my third practice in Miami, which I eventually did.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I specialize in facial plastic surgery, and I aim to make people look natural and attractive. What sets me apart is I always strive for great results and my results are very natural looking. I also never oversell.
I am most proud of being one of the most recognized plastic surgeons, nationally and internationally, in buccal fat removal. I would like people to know that when they come to my practice, they have knowledge and expertise based on wide experience with a Latin “vibe” so that people feel at home when they visit.
