Exploring Life And Business With Blessed Child Apparel

Today we’d like to introduce you to Blessed Child Apparel LLC.

Hi Blessed Child, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
Blessed Child Apparel was actually just a thought in the beginning. While being pregnant with our first child, with no clear direction or plan of provision for our lives, the thought of an infant’s clothing line came to my mind: “Blessed Child”. It was originally supposed to be just a brand of onesies for newborns to wear. I would never forget, I drew the letters B & C with an Angel’s wings & thought: “this would be the logo!” Being that we were unable to fund the business at the time, the thought didn’t become much more than that, it was just another page in my book of ideas. It wasn’t until our son turned 2 years old, when “Daddy” stumbled across this book and seen the page I had written a couple years before & immediately, he decided it was something we should work towards. We settled on our name, got our official logo made, & this was when Blessed Child Apparel began to come to life.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
When we first started out, I would definitely say it was a bit challenging trying to find the right person to produce the quality we desired. We went through a couple of manufacturers, took a couple losses, & though it was a bit discouraging, we did not allow that to stop us from launching Blessed Child Apparel on April 23, 2020 which was our firstborn Bentley’s 3rd birthday. The hardest part since our launch has been finding ways to get our brand out there and staying consistent with everything life has thrown at us. There are many times we wanted to give up on the brand as a whole, but we are always reminded of the Purpose behind it. Blessed Child is bigger than us. Blessed Child Apparel is not only a clothing brand, but a Ministry and a reminder that Children, no matter how or when they come, are a Blessing from God.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Blessed Child Apparel is a Faith-Based/Family-Owned Business, Inspired By The Scripture PSALM 127:3 “Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is His reward.”

Blessed Child Apparel was founded in an effort to fight against Child Abuse, Child Neglect, & Abortion by raising awareness that Children Are A Blessing From God.

Blessed Child specializes in Infant & Children Wear ranging from sizes 6M to 8Y.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
Honestly, I have a lot of memories that I would consider my favorite but overall I just loved the freedom I had as a child. Living in the small town of Port Antonio, Jamaica, where everyone knew each other, I was able to enjoy the outdoors with no worries.
