Today we’d like to introduce you to Carolina Gonzalez and Claudia Vilches.
Hi Carolina and Claudia, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
We (Carolina and Claudia) began working together at a small production company in Miami, FL in 2017. After completing numerous projects together, we realized we made a great business team and knew that we wanted to make a name for ourselves on our own. For as long as we could both remember, we have always felt like we belonged in New York and felt as if the universe had that written for us. Carolina got accepted into NYU to pursue her Master’s Degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communications in 2019, and asked Claudia to come with her to NYC. We both quit our jobs in hopes of making it someday in the big apple. When COVID hit, we both lost the opportunity to start the corporate jobs we were in line for. After realizing how much we enjoyed making graphics, managing social media accounts, and our passion for marketing– we figured we could combine all of these talents, in addition to our previous production knowledge, to make a one-stop shop for businesses everywhere. We created The PR Influence: a digital consulting agency that specializes in branding, social media, marketing, and public relations. Our goal was to make unique content available to small business owners everywhere.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
We like to think that although there were trials and tribulations, the road was as smooth as it could have been. The support of our friends and family made everything much easier. We always say that this entire thing was written in the stars and we like to maintain a positive outlook on even the most negative things. Everything that happened that didn’t go our way probably led us to something better.
As you know, we’re big fans of The PR Influence. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
The PR Influence is a digital consulting agency that specializes in branding, social media, marketing, and public relations. Our goal was to make unique content available to small business owners everywhere. We have very affordable services that are uniquely curated for each client. It is our mission to provide high-quality services at a good price. Furthermore, we wanted to emphasize that we are a one-stop shop for your brand. We offer everything from name ideas to branding and logos, to photography, social media content, website building, and more.
What makes you happy?
What makes us happy is how happy our services make our clients. When we see the excitement in their face when we tell them our ideas, or show them their final logo, or when they see more sales coming in, that’s what makes it all worth it. We genuinely love what we do and waking up every day to do it, is what makes us our happiest.
