Meet Mitch Isley

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mitch Isley.

Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours and tell us about your art?
My name is Comedian Mitch Isley, and I’m a native of Broward County and South Florida. I’ve been pursuing comedy full time for 6 years, but I’ve been a comedian my whole life. I have a beautiful wife and eight kids, six biological five girls and one boy: Inherited 2 kids, both boys when I got married. My life is very comedic, and I love telling my story when I’m on the stage. I’ve worked and performed all over South Florida, and Atlanta, Georgia at the Improv’s with some great stand up comedians such as iconic Marvin Dixon, Cocoa Brown, Comedian Razor, Kyle Groom, Will Sylvince, Malik’s Comedy and striving for it to be plenty more. However, I’ve written my own family-friendly sitcom, and it’s being shopped as we speak to all television networks. Also, I’m in the middle of shooting a scissor reel for another project for sketch comedy I’m working on so it can be shopped as well. Also, I throw my own comedy shows all over South Florida. Every day I’m inspiring to be a better me, and I’m not in competition with anyone I just love entertaining people and putting smiles on their faces. You never know if someone is having a bad day and they just need a simple laugh. My goal this year is starting a nonprofit organization called “Mitch loves the kids” where we can give back to the children of the community that’ll help single parents homes and the less fortunate. Also, I’ll be making children aware of anti-bullying and violence. In the future, I will be mainstream, and I’m totally looking forward to seeing what Hollywood has in store for me because I have plenty of ideas.

We often hear from artists that being an artist can be lonely. Any advice for those looking to connect with other artists?
Keep working, keep grinding and don’t be afraid to reach out to other artists. The entertainment industry is built on relationships and try not to burn others. Your name reflects a perception of you.

How or where can people see your work? How can people support your work?
