Today we’d like to introduce you to Nancy Galati.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Nancy. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
After spending years being the right hand to successful entrepreneurs, I had a burning desire to strike out on my own. My career in real estate was and is good and stable but something was missing. I didn’t feel like I was setting the world on fire and I did not feel professionally fulfilled- I just knew there was so much more I could give and share with people. My friends were always calling me for help with everything from contracts to work-related blockages to a personal crisis. I constantly found myself coaching and advising everyone. People came to me with start-up businesses that they needed contracts looked at- deals negotiated. Then, it became sales coaching and human resource issues. Every day, there was a new need to be filled- and every challenge brought me joy! One day, a childhood friend and author in NYC reached out to me and asked me to represent him – I read his book “Locked Up & Put Away” and immediately starting helping him with engagements signings and content. We started building seminars and platforms for his industry. I was realizing my true passion was helping other people discover their purpose and attain their goals. I was finally utilizing my 20+ years of business acumen combined with my spiritual studies and energy work. My best days are when I get a call from a client who tells me they just hit their goal- their joy is my passion!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Being a working single mom of teenagers is a rewarding but challenging experience. Some days you feel like there are not enough hours in the day and you wonder how you will get it all done. When I committed to starting my own consulting agency my family was super supportive, I was always nervous about striking out on my own but having their support made it so much easier!
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about 3rd Eye Consulting LLC – what should we know?
As a business coach, I help entrepreneurs get to their next level. I coach their teams and do one-on-ones with owners to uncover their blockages. My motto is “I can make you better” and while I take on clients of all shapes sizes and industries – I do especially love helping women. I find as executives women tend to struggle to find their work-life balance and to express themselves in a way that gets them heard. I get especially happy when I see them having it all come together. My real motivation is PEOPLE. I have a love for the world and I always want to hear about people succeeding – if I can be part of that process I am honored! When employees are successful and valued they are happy – they go home happy. That means happy parents going home to their children which increases the likelihood of happier children. Happy employees also make better ones- which makes owners more successful. There is a cycle here of positive effects going out into the world creating more peace and prosperity which is what its all about for me. My unique skill set goes beyond traditional techniques and training. 3rd Eye is a product of over 20 years of operational executive management in various industries coupled with strategies for wellness and balance that most people have yet to discover. In today’s world, we are much deeper and much more connected than we realize. 3rd Eye Consulting brings people both practical business and emotionally effective tools to succeed in all aspects of life. The goal in LIFE is to be Happy and to do that I think we always need to strive to be a little better than the day before.
Do you feel luck has played a role in your life?
I truly believe we make our own luck. I do believe in Karma though- and I know the more you spread around greatness the more it comes back to you. I decided long ago to replace any self-doubts and negative self-talk with positive thoughts and it has made all the difference! It’s something I teach my clients along with the importance of goal setting. We always have to have a target.
