Today we’d like to introduce you to Kid Faze.
Kid, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I’m a smart kid that loves hip hop since I got my first iPod in the 7th grade. From North Miami, moved to Miramar, went to school in Fort Lauderdale. Graduated and made it to UCF for college.
Started really struggling and turned to the streets. Questioned continuing education when I started making some real money. Balled out then went broke. Back was against the wall, in a lower place than when I first started, but I found a way out the darkness.
It changed me into a stronger beast, I refuse to go broke again. Much smarter and more developed now.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Encountering people who play games or try to finesse; aka the fake executives. Lack of education. Writer’s block. Procrastination. Perfectionism. Going broke. Not having a dedicated and motivated team or the manpower; aka no label support. A technical difficulty caused for the first edition of the whole mixtape to be lost forever. Had to re-record everything.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
2Live Parties. We threw parties in our backyards back in high school. Best parties I have ever been to.
