Today we’d like to introduce you to Maria Botero.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I’m 25 years old from Colombia, I went to Business school then I came to Boston to do my MBA. And one year ago, I moved to Miami to work in a construction company as a marketing and sales manager for the high-end real state.
I’ve been blogging as well for around a year (@mariaboterob), and I created my company; Mama Jungle (@mamajungle) it’s an accessory brand, most known for the cool sunglasses we offer, online (shopmamajungle.com).
Since I’m 15, I’ve also been passionate about my spirituality, reason why I’m certified as a Reiki master, Angel therapy and mindfulness meditation. I host meditations, and also I do consulting for my patients.
Has it been a smooth road?
I believe the biggest “bump” in the road has been moving to a totally different country and building up a life and a business from scratch.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Maria Botero the Lovegger of Instagram – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
About my blog; I incorporate two aspects of daily life that are fashion and spirituality, this I believe makes me stand out, I’ve created my own title, I’m a “lovegger”; one with love towards spiritual influencing. My audience is very active and responsive. I have around 20,900 followers.
My company, Mama Jungle, I started five months ago, and I’m already selling in five different countries (Colombia, USA, Mexico, and Canada). Also, a lot of Colombian celebrities are using my brand, and this is really cool!!!
My coaching, it’s been amazing to see how the life of my patients change, and they evolve in such a beautiful way, opening their eyes to a life full of gratitude and success.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
What I like the best about Miami is that there is always something going on, lots of business opportunities and so many different cultures that you can get to know people from all around the world.
What I like the least is the traffic for sure!
