Check out Neville Forbes’s Artwork

Today we’d like to introduce you to Neville Forbes.

Neville, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
My interest in photography did not start until I received my certification in Photoshop from Suncoast High School. Shortly after, I joined my high school’s photography club, and although it sparked a huge interest in me, they were not connecting with the subject as much as I desired. I started watching videos and learning certain terminology and techniques in regards to photography, all without even owning a camera. Once I got to college, one of my biggest milestones was creating my own clothing line and purchasing my first DSLR, a Canon T6i. My background in photoshop, I was able to make my photos stand out and add unique elements. It was not until someone asked me to do a graduation shoot that I took my high school passion, and developed it into the love of my life. Thus Legacy Shots was born.

We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
My main focus is portrait photography because I believe it captures the essence of the subject in a way like no other, allowing for creativity and inimitable photos. When I consult with clients, I take their vision and create more than what they expected. Bringing it to the next level. Everyone has moments of their life that need documentation, may it be the tossing of the graduation cap, the smile of a brand new car owner, or friends traveling the world. All these moments, big or small, deserve to be shared amongst others in recognition of your moments. These are the special moments that I aspire to capture, thus creating a legacy. My work is meant to stand the test of time, while still being very personal to the client. When words fall short and fail to convey a certain message, my work will speak for itself and capture exactly that. Let’s capture your legacy!

What do you know now that you wished you had learned earlier?
If you want to be at the top, you have to work like the top people. Restless nights and early mornings are not enough. There is already someone in your seat, and they have no reason to move.

I wish early on someone told me that the path you walk is only your path and having trust in the processes is harder than it seems, but it’s all normal.

Where would one go to see more of your work? How can people support you and your artwork?
People can find my work on my instagram (legacyshots_co) and my website (www.legacyshotsphotography.com)

The best way to support is to share my work. Tell people about their experiences working with me.
