Today we’d like to introduce you to Victoria Galindez.
Victoria, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I opened my first store in 1996, in Buenos Aires, when I was 23 years old. Although I have been working for five years at Merrill Lynch, my passion for cooking and baking was flowing through my veins, as I am the third generation in this business, and it seems already in my adn! So, I made a big decision in my life and changed my office work, that was very comfortable and profitable to me at that time, for the challenge of developing my own brand in a completely different industry. My decision was hard to support, but I finally reach my goals and succeed. Always willing to discover new markets I arrived in the USA, four years ago with my husband and kids, to open my first store in Miami. Happy to be here and happy to be there, my brand today is running in Buenos Aires and Miami.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Entrepreneurs don’t know what smooth feels like. As an entrepreneur every day is a challenge, we work very hard with our bodies, our minds, and our souls for our projects. We are constantly trying to find the equilibrium between freedom, profit, happiness, effort, struggles and succeeds. Intrapersonal skills are a non-negotiable must have to face challenges, but at the end of the day, happiness comes in tons.
Please tell us about CLASICA VICTORIA.
Clasica Victoria is a Food and Beverage small business. We serve breakfast, lunch and tea time of course, with all our variety of homemade products. We are known for our quality, and that’s what sets us apart from others. We cook and bake like old times, to finally serve our products in a modern and casual environment of our store. We also offer catering services. We are a lifestyle food spot.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Each error has taught me lots of things, I wouldn’t be me if I choose to start over doing things differently.
