Today we’d like to introduce you to Amy Khachatryan.
Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
As far back as I can remember I’ve loved flowers. This desire led me to study and earn an International Degree in Floral Design in Armenia and developed fully in America. My artistic career actually began as a fine artist painting, in the visual arts and then I started working with nature and the most beautiful flowers of each season. All of the work that I create is done with love and deep feelings for the person I’m designing for. This way, each piece is a unique creation.
Please tell us about your art.
I have been creating unique floral designs and art compositions since 2000 finding inspiration in life’s precious moments and in my relationship with my clients. This passion has given me a remarkable edge in establishing myself in the floral design industry. I always aim to create a unified, flawless harmony filled with love in each piece.
My work has been featured in Ceremony Magazine and a number of other national publications and has been voted by Trump National Gold Course Hotel as “Wedding of the Year”.
We often hear from artists that being an artist can be lonely. Any advice for those looking to connect with other artists?
Networking is very important in every field but I’ve found that each person has their own path and what works for one may not work for another. My best advice is always to follow your heart and obey a good impulse. Never consider a job or contact as being small or unimportant as one never knows where it may lead.
