Meet Fabienne Claude

Today we’d like to introduce you to Fabienne Claude.

Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
I was always a person who truly believed in doing whatever you set your mind to doing. I was raised in Miami, and my school days were surrounded by artist, and fun, creative individuals. The college I attended, Miami International University of Art & Design, expanded my mind. By my sophomore year, I opened my first company as a fashion show production company accompanied with model bookings.

That took me into a world of glorifying vanity, fortune and fame. Although I never found myself in situations falling into the pits of drugs and alcohol, I did witness it happening to those around me in some cases. I began to recognize the “shady” energy, paying more attention to my goals, so I left for 2 months. 1 month in Mexico, from them flew to Spain for 1 month. The inspiration came more to wanting a change for the good. I found myself while in Spain, gazing at the ocean where I can see the mountains of Africa from where I stood each day I was there. Then came the message. I created the concept, of my now company, Go Green Fashionista in the beach condo I was staying in Marbella, Spain. I came back to Miami more focused in my journey. I am creating a movement when at the time, people weren’t talking about eco-friendly living much yet. This was in 2008.

Please tell us about your art.
10 years ago, I started my company Go Green Fashionista. At first, I mainly dealt with promoting eco-friendly fashion designers and holistic companies. I fused the “giving back” method by honoring humanitarians and eco-friendly programs and organizations. During the years of growing “Go Green Fashionista”, I became more intrigued with health and fitness. I became a vegan and got certified as a Yoga Instructor. I have been teaching since; 8 years strong. I experienced the most humbling opportunities; teaching in Haiti, Hawaii, Guatemala, and Jamaica. Within my continuous seeking of more conscious valued experiences, I found my gift of empathy and clairvoyance. A gift I truly believe most people can tap in to. With this sense of intuitive awakening, I have formed my yoga sessions into a practice I call “Ancient Healing & Awakening”. While stretching the body, I place the mind in intention setting visuals to more awaken their inner-self, by reminders of self-love, strength, power, and loyal will to finding one’s purpose in life as a balance of spiritual and physical abundance.

I just expanded my love for motivational speaking and now am doing radio broadcast along with MC/Hosting of various conscious/community events in South Florida. The base of my topics stem from uplifting self with positive word sound affirmations fused with information both historically and helpful living methods.

I also speak about the spiritual and ancient history connection to the Cannabis plant. I mainly touch on the spiritual experiences one can endure with the proper use of this ancient herbal plant. Medicinal topics do inevitably come up. Most recent engagement was being a guest on Cannabis Life Radio.

We often hear from artists that being an artist can be lonely. Any advice for those looking to connect with other artists?
Go around like-minded individuals. Places that you can connect with other creatives. Miami is so diverse, there is always something going on that can lead to connections, friendships, more inspiration.
