Pascale, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My story has many layers but first, let’s start the journey of how started my brand. About 4 years ago, I was 21 years old. I decided to quit my job (for personal reason) at a hair salon that I worked at part-time since I graduated from high school. After that, I didn’t want anything to do with the beauty industry, so I decided to try something different, I picked up a hostess gig. I worked so hard at that job, 40 hours plus while being a full-time college student. I randomly got fired from that job for no reason after 3 three months. I had so much peace about the situation.
My exact words were “God has better in store for me” the hair extension industry was booming at that time and that’s when I pushed myself and I started my hair extension company @myluxehair with some of the money that I saved up. I started the company with only $500 dollars. I always loved and enjoy doing hair as a hobby and my clients by supporting me by buying the hair so decided to invest more money and created my website to offer it to other people across the world. My journey was certainly not easy at all, it was a long rocky road but I wouldn’t change a thing about it, I wouldn’t be the person that I am today! I’m now getting ready to sign my lease to open my dream hair salon and I have a shampoo and conditioner line on the way! I couldn’t be any happier.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Like I mentioned earlier, my journey was certainly not easy at all, it was a long rocky road, but I wouldn’t change a thing about it, I wouldn’t be the person that I am today! If there are any young women out there who are just starting their journey, I would advise them to not give up, no matter how hard it may look, keep going and be consistent because that’s the only way they’ll see breakthrough and live out their dreams.

I wear many hats but I’m known for being a businesswoman and a licensed cosmetologist. Being a cosmetologist brings me so much joy because I know for sure, I’m walking in my God’s purpose and using my talent. I offer hair extensions, mink lashes and edge control for those that love their edges sleek and smooth. I do everything but I believe that hair extension is my niche so I specialize in that, also wigs and color. You can never go wrong with a touch of color, it brings out the hair extension. The thing that sets me apart from others is my gift and my passion. Passion is attractive and people could see it from the way I treat my clients to how to operate my business. I recognize my gifts, I develop them and I continue to perfect my craft every chance I get.
What advice would you give to someone at the start of her career?
The most important advice I would give them is to be authentic, be themselves! God purposely created them that way, that will be the main essence people love them.

- My hair extensions range from $60 to $130 per bundle., I got above and beyond to provide the best to my clients because I have integrity & care about their hard earned money.
- The Lashes cost $30, they’re handmade mink lashes made with love. They’re reusable up to 27 times.
