Today we’d like to introduce you to Maria Arriojas.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey has been built around helping people turn ideas into real, functioning businesses. Over the years, I found myself naturally becoming the person people came to when they needed help navigating business registrations, licenses, permits, compliance requirements, administrative processes, and the many details that can become overwhelming when starting or growing a company.
That experience eventually led me to create MGA Consulting Services LLC. I wanted to build a company where clients could have one trusted point of contact — someone who not only understands the paperwork, but also understands the urgency, responsibility, and personal investment behind every business.
Today, I work with entrepreneurs and companies in different industries, helping them organize their businesses, navigate government and regulatory processes, coordinate documentation, and move projects forward from idea to execution.
What I am most proud of is that MGA has grown largely through relationships, trust, and referrals. For me, consulting is not simply about completing a form or obtaining a license. It is about understanding what the client is trying to accomplish, anticipating obstacles, and finding practical solutions to help them get there.
I am still very hands-on with my clients, and I believe that is one of the things that makes MGA different. I treat every project with the same level of commitment I would expect if it were my own business.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, it definitely hasn’t always been a smooth road. Building a business comes with a lot of challenges, and for me, one of the biggest has been learning how to manage so many responsibilities at the same time — taking care of my clients, keeping up with changing regulations and procedures, solving unexpected problems, and still finding ways to grow my own company.
Another challenge has been learning to set boundaries and delegate. When you really care about your clients and their results, it’s easy to want to be involved in every detail and solve everything yourself. Over time, I’ve learned that growing also means trusting the process, building the right support around you, and knowing where your time has the most value.
Those challenges have actually made me better at what I do. They’ve taught me to be more organized, more strategic, and especially to stay calm when things don’t go according to plan.
Today, I see obstacles differently. Many of the challenges I’ve faced myself have helped me better understand what my clients are going through. That experience allows me to guide them with more confidence, practical knowledge, and empathy.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
MGA Consulting Services LLC is a business consulting and administrative services firm focused on helping entrepreneurs and companies navigate the practical side of starting, organizing, and growing a business.
We assist clients with business formation, licenses and permits, corporate documentation, regulatory and government processes, notary services, administrative coordination, and project follow-up. A large part of our work involves taking complicated or time-consuming processes and making them easier for our clients to understand and complete.
What sets MGA apart is the personal attention we give to every case. I am very hands-on with my clients. I don’t believe in simply giving someone a checklist and sending them on their way. I take the time to understand what they are trying to accomplish, identify what is actually required, coordinate the different steps, and stay involved until the process is moving in the right direction.
Many of our clients are entrepreneurs who have a great business idea but don’t necessarily know how to navigate permits, agencies, documentation, or compliance requirements. That is where we become especially valuable.
What I am most proud of is the trust we have built. Much of our business has grown through referrals, which means a lot to me because it tells me that people feel comfortable recommending MGA to someone they know.
I want people to see MGA as more than a consulting company. We are a resource, a problem-solving partner, and often the bridge between a business owner’s vision and the administrative work required to make that vision happen.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Something many people may not know about me is that a big part of what I do comes from my faith and my personal sense of purpose.
I am a woman of God, and I try to keep my faith strong even during difficult seasons. I truly believe we all have a purpose, and mine has always been closely connected to helping people, finding solutions, and creating opportunities.
I also genuinely love connecting people. Over the years, I have built a valuable network of personal and professional relationships, and many times I am able to connect the right person with the right opportunity, service, resource, or relationship that can help them move forward.
For me, networking is not simply about knowing people. It is about building real relationships, creating trust, and making meaningful connections that can positively impact someone’s life or business.
I think that says a lot about who I am. I love helping, solving problems, connecting people, and trying to leave something positive with every person I meet.
