Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Caicedo & Erica Quince.
Hi Sarah Caicedo &, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
House of Mane started with a friendship. We met as coworkers, and from the beginning we shared the same passion for the beauty industry, the same work ethic, and the same vision for what a salon experience could be. What started as supporting each other behind the chair quickly turned into dreaming about building something of our own.
When we opened House of Mane, our goal was simple: create a space where clients felt welcomed, confident, and cared for, while also building a positive environment where talented stylists could grow their careers. We poured everything we had into making that vision a reality, and through hard work, trust, and an amazing community of clients, we were able to grow beyond what we imagined.
Today, we’re proud to have built House of Mane into two thriving locations. Looking back, it’s incredible to see how far we’ve come from friends and coworkers with a shared dream to business partners leading a growing salon family. Every challenge has taught us something, every milestone has been worth celebrating, and we’re excited to continue growing while staying true to the values that brought us here in the first place.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Like most small business owners, we’ve faced our share of challenges. Starting a business is exciting, but it also comes with a lot of uncertainty. There were long hours, financial risks, and countless decisions that had to be made while we were still working behind the chair and growing our clientele.
Opening our first location was a huge learning experience, and now preparing to open our second House of Mane location in West Palm Beach has brought a whole new set of challenges. From growing our team and expanding our systems to ensuring we preserve the culture we’ve worked so hard to create, this next chapter has pushed us in new ways while we continue providing the level of service our clients have come to expect.
One of the biggest reasons we’ve been able to navigate those challenges is our partnership. We each bring different strengths to the table, and we’ve always been able to lean on one another through the highs and the lows. Every obstacle has pushed us to grow not just as business owners, but as leaders. Looking back, those challenges helped shape House of Mane into what it is today, and as we prepare to open our West Palm Beach location, we’re more excited than ever for what’s ahead.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
At House of Mane, we specialize in creating beautiful, customized cut, color and style while delivering an experience that makes every client feel comfortable, confident, and cared for. Whether it’s dimensional color, blonding, extensions, lived-in looks, or precision cutting, our focus is always on helping each guest achieve hair that fits their lifestyle while maintaining the health and integrity of their hair.
As owners, our role has grown beyond working behind the chair. We’re passionate about building a salon where both clients and stylists feel at home. We’ve worked hard to create a positive, supportive culture where education, teamwork, and custom creativity are at the center of everything we do. Watching our team grow in their confidence and careers has become just as rewarding as seeing our clients leave feeling their best.
What we’re most proud of is what House of Mane has become. What started as a shared dream between two friends has grown into two thriving locations our original salon in Miami and our newest location in West Palm Beach, which officially opened on August 1st. Reaching this milestone is incredibly rewarding and reflects years of hard work, dedication, and the unwavering support of our amazing clients and team. From two friends and coworkers with a shared dream, we’ve built two thriving salon locations and an incredible community of loyal clients and talented stylists. That didn’t happen overnight it came from consistency, hard work, sacrifices and genuinely caring about the people who walk through our doors.
We believe what sets us apart is the experience we create and the custom color, cuts and styling we deliver. We want every client to feel like they’re more than just an appointment on the schedule. We take the time to listen, educate, and build lasting relationships, and we strive to make every visit feel welcoming and personalized. That commitment to our clients, our team, and our community is what continues to define House of Mane and what we’re most proud to stand behind.
Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
More than anything, we’re grateful. We’re thankful for every client who has trusted us over the years, every stylist who has been part of our journey, and everyone in our community who has supported House of Mane from the very beginning. We know we wouldn’t be where we are today without that support.
This is an especially exciting time for us because on August 1st, we’re opening our second House of Mane location in West Palm Beach. Reaching this milestone is something we’ve dreamed about since we first met as coworkers and imagined building a salon of our own. It’s a reflection of the incredible support we’ve received from our clients, our team, and our community.
If there’s one thing we’d want readers to take away, it’s that building a business takes patience, hard work, and a willingness to keep learning. There will always be challenges, but if you’re passionate about what you do and surround yourself with the right people, those challenges become opportunities to grow.
As we look ahead, we’re excited to continue evolving, investing in our team, and creating an exceptional experience for every person who walks through our doors at both of our locations. We’re proud of how far we’ve come, but we truly believe the best is still ahead for House of Mane.
