Check Out Griselda Lechini’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Griselda Lechini.

Hi Griselda, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I was born in Argentina, but the United States became the place where I built much of my professional life and developed the career that opened the door to many new opportunities. Throughout the years, I embraced opportunities in television, fashion, entrepreneurship, real estate, hospitality, writing, and eventually found my true calling in the visual arts. Although every chapter of my journey has been meaningful, I eventually realized that painting wasn’t simply something I did—it was the language through which I could express my soul. Without any formal artistic training, I discovered a passion that completely transformed my life and evolved into an international artistic career, leading to exhibitions, collectors, and meaningful connections with people from different cultures around the world. While my work has taken me across Europe and beyond, Miami has always remained my home base. It is the place I return to between exhibitions, creative projects, and new adventures—a city whose energy, diversity, and international spirit continue to inspire both my life and my work. Today, my life is dedicated to creating art, writing, and developing meaningful projects that encourage people to reconnect with themselves through creativity. I am the author of two published books, both available in Spanish and English, and my work explores themes of resilience, hope, transformation, and our deep connection with nature. Looking back, I don’t see my life as a series of different careers, but as one continuous journey of growth. Every experience I have embraced, every country that has welcomed me, and every person I have met has become part of the stories I tell through my paintings and my books. I believe that every new beginning brings us closer to who we are meant to become, and I hope my work inspires others to embrace their own journey with courage, hope, and authenticity.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not at all. Like many entrepreneurs and artists, my journey has been filled with uncertainty, reinvention, and moments that tested my resilience. I’ve experienced personal loss, major life transitions, professional setbacks, and the challenge of starting over more than once. There were times when everything I had carefully built seemed to disappear, and I had to find the strength to begin again. Looking back, I realize those experiences didn’t define me—they shaped me. They taught me patience, perseverance, gratitude, and the importance of trusting the process even when the path isn’t clear. Every challenge became an opportunity to grow, and every new beginning brought me closer to the life and work I was meant to create. Today, I don’t see obstacles as barriers anymore. I see them as part of the creative journey. They have made me not only a stronger artist, but also a more compassionate person. If my work resonates with people, I believe it’s because it comes from real life, genuine emotions, and the belief that hope can always emerge from even the most difficult moments.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a contemporary artist and author whose work is inspired by nature, human emotions, and the beauty of transformation. Although I paint a variety of subjects, I am especially known for my vibrant landscapes, expressive use of color, and the distinctive trees that have become a signature element of my work. For me, painting is much more than creating an image—it is a way of telling stories and connecting with people on an emotional level. Every painting begins with an emotion, a memory, or a place that has touched my heart, and I hope each piece invites the viewer to pause, reflect, and experience a sense of hope and peace. Beyond painting, I am also passionate about writing. As the author of two published books, I explore many of the same themes that inspire my artwork: resilience, personal growth, hope, and the courage to embrace new beginnings. What makes my work unique is that it reflects a life lived across different cultures and experiences. Every country I have visited, every conversation, and every challenge has influenced my artistic voice. Over the years, something extraordinary has happened more than once: I have painted places before ever visiting them, only to find myself standing there later in life. Experiences like these have strengthened my belief that art can sometimes express what words cannot and that creativity has a mysterious way of connecting us to places, emotions, and moments long before we fully understand them. I don’t simply paint what I see—I paint what I feel. If there is one thing I am most proud of, it is having remained authentic throughout my journey. Trends come and go, but I have always believed that creating from the heart is what gives art its lasting value. That, more than anything else, is what defines me as an artist.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
Whatever I create—whether through art, writing, speaking, or any future endeavor—I hope it encourages people to believe in themselves, embrace new beginnings, and never stop growing. If I can inspire even one person to see new possibilities in their own life, then I feel I have fulfilled my purpose.
