Today we’d like to introduce you to Rodrigo Zambrano and Eric Escanes.

Hi Rodrigo and Eric , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
We met at a jam at Jazid in South Beach in 2006. We then started our Band Electric Kif in 2007. We have been on the scene playing music collaborating, recording and releasing music for almost 20 years. We have six albums to date with Electric Kif.and one duo EP from 2023. And a new Duo EP coming out in 2027.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It is sometiems a struggle to all get together to write and create new music. Everyone can get very busy playing for other artists and touring the world. That’s why when the shut down hit. It was a very productive era for us Musically. Cause all we had was time.

Rodrigo Zambrano Plays Bass, Guitar and is a producer.

Eric Escanes is a guitarist, producer.

We specialize in live music and music composition and production.

We are known for playing and touring with Miami based band Electric Kif.

We are very proud of all our releases as a band and solo artists for the last 15 years.

Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
Rodrigo: Seeing my friends play music live for the first time when i was eleven years old.

Eric: Hearing Dark side of the moon by Pink Floyd when i was 5 years old.
