Today we’d like to introduce you to Sighren McCullough.
Hi Sighren, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started out very young, wanting to be in the entertainment, industry, acting, dancing, singing, where my main focus.
I appeared on local TV shows like Sunday funnies I also read the news for major news station Channel 7 and also worked with local celebrities musically like disco Rick and the dogs selected to dance in the music video for their hit song do that nasty dance in the late 80s. After suffering early on family trauma to include violation at an early age, I became an introvert, although I was still talented. I was spiritually and emotionally vulnerable which affected my confidence as well as my drive and desire to be in the public eye.. I settled in life for the role of a college dropout and teen mom becoming a part of the statistic. Knowing this wasn’t for me, I chose to do something about it. I educated myself through the public library system with books, geared towards human resources, business administration, and pay payroll.. without the college degree I got the job and made pretty decent money but I would be caped financially without a college degree to get to the annual income I desired. I had to figure out what I needed to do to change that. I then resigned from corporate. America started to focus on healing that spiritual and emotional trauma, and ended up turning that process into a business.. I became an entrepreneur and was finally able to experience the income I desired in life. I have been an entrepreneur for seven years and counting and am loving every sacrifice I had to make to get here.. Now using those traumas as my stepping stool towards higher experiences and happiness.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Having experienced such heavy traumas early on in life, I developed many triggers that I ignored in my early adult life. These triggers were the foundation of the many domestic violent relationships and resulted in a lot of No’s instead of yes for many situations I looked forward to. Having been turned down for many opportunities and having to raise two children alone due to the loss of their father to suicide, I developed severe depression along with panic disorder. This turned into alcoholism as I escaped the emotional pain behind these traumas on a day-to-day basis.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
