Hi Aura, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My name is Aura Coral Espinosa, and I’m the founder and artist behind Aura Coral Makeup Studio.
My journey started over seven years ago with a simple passion for beauty and making women feel confident. I quickly realized that makeup is about so much more than appearance, it’s about helping someone feel empowered, comfortable, and beautiful in their own skin.
Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to continuously learning, refining my techniques, and creating an experience that feels personal for every client. Whether I’m working with a bride on one of the most important days of her life or helping someone get ready for a special event, my goal is always the same: to enhance their natural beauty while making them feel confident and cared for.
Building Aura Coral Makeup Studio has been a journey of hard work, consistency, and a genuine love for what I do. Every client has played a part in helping my business grow, and I’m incredibly grateful for the trust they place in me.
Today, I specialize in soft glam, bridal, and special event makeup, and I’m excited to continue growing my brand while helping women look and feel their absolute best during life’s most meaningful moments.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not at all. Like most entrepreneurs, I’ve faced many challenges along the way.
One of the biggest was building a business from scratch while constantly improving my skills and earning people’s trust in a very competitive industry. There were seasons with plenty of bookings and others that were much slower, which taught me the importance of consistency, patience, and never stopping my marketing efforts.
Another challenge was moving to a new country and rebuilding my clientele. Starting over meant adapting to a different market, understanding new trends, and creating new relationships from the ground up. It wasn’t easy, but it pushed me to grow both personally and professionally.
Through every challenge, I’ve learned that success doesn’t happen overnight. It’s built through hard work, continuous education, excellent customer service, and genuinely caring about every client who chooses to trust you. Looking back, those struggles have shaped me into a better artist and a stronger business owner.

At Aura Coral Makeup Studio, I specialize in soft glam, bridal, and special event makeup. My approach is always to enhance each client’s natural beauty rather than transform who they are. I want every woman to look like herself, just more confident, radiant, and polished.
What I’m most proud of is the trust my clients place in me. Many of them return for different milestones in their lives and recommend me to their family and friends. Knowing that I’ve become someone they can rely on for their most important moments is incredibly rewarding.
I believe what sets me apart is the experience I provide. I take the time to listen to each client, understand their style, and create a look that reflects their personality instead of following a one-size-fits-all trend. I also place a strong emphasis on professionalism, hygiene, punctuality, and creating a calm, enjoyable environment where every client feels comfortable and cared for.
What matters most to you?
What matters most to me is the experience each client has when they work with me. I believe the experience is just as important as the final result. I want every client to feel heard, cared for, and relaxed from the moment they sit in my chair until they leave. When someone feels comfortable, valued, and confident, it shows, and that’s what makes my work truly meaningful.
