Hi Agustín, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’m Agustín Brocal, a Spanish singer-songwriter, composer, and performer. My music blends pop, rock, and electronic influences, allowing me to explore different sounds while staying true to my artistic identity. As an independent artist, I write, produce, and release my own music, creating songs that combine honest lyrics with emotion and contemporary production. My goal is to connect with listeners through authentic stories and meaningful music.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
My journey in music hasn’t always been easy. As an independent artist, I’ve had to build my career on my own, without the resources and opportunities that often come with a major record label. Every step forward has required a lot of dedication, perseverance, and hard work, but those challenges have also made me stronger and more committed to my music and my audience.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Throughout my career, I have released three studio albums: A Mi Imagen y Semejanza, Justo y Necesario, and Vicio Vital. Each album represents a different chapter of my life and artistic evolution, reflecting my growth as a songwriter, composer, and performer.
In addition to these albums, I have spent the last 27 years recording and releasing standalone singles, constantly creating new music and exploring different influences within pop, rock, and electronic music. As an independent artist, I have promoted my work through digital platforms, social media, interviews, and various media outlets, always focused on reaching new listeners and sharing my music with the widest audience possible.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
What makes me happiest in music is knowing that a song I’ve written can connect with someone on a personal level. Creating, sharing emotions, and seeing listeners find their own meaning in my music is the most rewarding part of being an artist.
