Hi Mahismati Johanna, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My name is Mahismati, and I am passionate about India’s culture, spirituality, and fashion. From an early age, I felt inspired by the beauty of traditional Indian textiles, their vibrant colors
I came to India in search of a spiritual life, and in that search, I not only found what I was looking for, but I also fell in love with its culture and people and of course with Indian fashion.
So I tried to combine my pilgrimage Path with immersing myself in the world of Indian fashion, fabrics, and style. Along the way, I visited different cities and the manufacturers, saw their styles, and I began to create my own style without losing the essence of India. And thus Baladev Boutique was born, a Store with a bohemian Indian style with a spiritual touch.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t always been smooth. Definitely have some struggles, specially as a single mom of two, trying to follow my dream, working in growing my business, staying consistency even when the things don’t look to good.

We are a clothing and accessories boutique inspiring in Bohemian style from India. We specialized in Modern and tradicional style. We specialized in one size fit most. We offer a style confortable, colorful, and unique pieces for women who love to feel free and confident. Every month we bring different prints and colors, so our clients have something new every time they visit us.
