Rising Stars: Meet Jennifer Escobar of Miami / South Florida

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Escobar.

Hi Jennifer, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Double creations started as an idea between two friends in February 2020. We officially launched our business in July 2020, right in pandemic time. Our main goal was to be able to create memorable events for any occasion. We kept learning and getting better at what we love doing. We continue to grow in ideas and business wise.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. We started with just an idea and the love for decorating. We have learned by watching videos and taking tips and tricks from others in the industry. Main thing is practicing and expanding our minds to new ideas. One of double creations struggle was while one of us had their first baby and took some time off our other owner opened a new business. Beautiful moments but with new ventures come new responsibilities, due to this, after a very hard and thoughtful decision, Double Creations was left with one owner/member. Although that has been a struggle we continue to grow and work on new ideas.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
As a full time Administrative assistant to an aviation company, a wife, mommy and entrepreneur, it’s all about balancing life. Double creations specializes in decorating any type of event. We mainly focus on balloon decorations although we don’t steer away from centerpieces, backdrops and personalized decores. What sets us apart is that we work with our clients, not everyone has a budget for a full decoration set. We work with our clients to find what works best for our clients and us.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters most is to see our clients content with our work. This is very important because they are trusting us for their event. When our clients love our work they trust to refer us with their family and friends.
