Today we’d like to introduce you to Hani Cohen.
Hi Hani, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I grew up in a small neighborhood in Israel, where life teaches you resilience and ambition from a very young age. Even as a child, I always felt a strong desire to create, build, and think beyond my surroundings.
When I was younger, I also explored acting roles in Israel, which introduced me early to the world of media, storytelling, and communication. Looking back, I think that experience naturally led me to the work I do today- creating content, building brands, and connecting with people through stories.
By the age of 22, I was already managing more than 20 marketing clients and building my own path in the digital marketing world. Around that time, I received a scholarship opportunity to study fashion business in Milan after creating a project for Vogue Italy, but I realized I wanted to build globally through creativity, media, and entrepreneurship.
Today, I combine marketing strategy, content creation, and media while working with brands across lifestyle and wellness. I also host my podcast, She Leads Jewish, where I interview inspiring Jewish women in leadership and business from around the world.
At the same time, I’m building HoneyFlex- a wellness and lifestyle brand focused on helping women feel better from the inside and outside through glow-up kits centered around confidence, self-care, movement, and personal growth.
Everything I do comes back to storytelling, connection, and building global communities that make people feel inspired and empowered.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road! and honestly, I don’t think building something meaningful ever is.
Growing up in Israel already teaches you resilience from a very young age. Living through wars, uncertainty, and constant intensity becomes part of your reality. At the same time, I was also dealing with personal challenges within my family, including having a close family member struggling with mental health issues, which forced me to grow up emotionally much faster.
Later on, building my career between different places like Israel, Miami, Italy, and New York came with its own challenges too- new cultures, different mentalities, language barriers, and moments of self-doubt along the way.

I combine media, marketing, community building, wellness, and identity through the different platforms and brands I’m building today.
I run my own marketing and content business, where I work with lifestyle, wellness, and innovation brands across digital strategy, storytelling, content creation, and social media.
I’m also the host of She Leads Jewish, a podcast featuring inspiring Jewish women in leadership, business, and entrepreneurship from around the world.
At the same time, I’m building HoneyFlex, a wellness and lifestyle brand focused on helping women glow from both the inside and outside through self-care, movement, confidence, and personal growth.
What sets me apart is that everything I build is centered around storytelling, creativity, identity, and creating genuine connection and community.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that everything comes back to authenticity and genuine connection.
Every project, platform, or business I’ve built that truly succeeded happened when it came from a real place- not just from strategy, trends, or trying to impress people. I’ve learned to constantly ask myself: What value am I actually giving? Is this coming from a real place of passion, joy, and connection?
I think people can feel when something is authentic, and they can also feel when it’s forced. The strongest brands, communities, and relationships are built when people genuinely connect to the energy and intention behind what you create.
