Today we’d like to introduce you to Oyuki Rogert.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Poderosa Minded started organically through years of working behind the scenes in event production, media, marketing, and community-driven projects across South Florida and beyond. I’ve always been someone who naturally bridged creativity with operations – whether that meant coordinating live events, developing marketing campaigns, producing content, supporting artists and brands, advocating for communities or helping bring large-scale ideas to life from the ground up.
Over the years, I gained experience working across nightlife, festivals, hospitality, entertainment, and community activations, while also building relationships with production teams, creatives, entrepreneurs, and organizations nationwide. What I realized was that many incredible brands and community-driven projects needed more than just “marketing” – they needed someone who understood how to connect storytelling, strategy, culture, and execution all at once.
That’s what led me to officially build Poderosa Minded. The company became a reflection of everything I had been doing for years: helping brands, events, artists, and businesses amplify their presence while also creating meaningful experiences and opportunities for community connection. Today, PM operates as a hybrid creative agency and production company supporting everything from media campaigns and PR to live events, sponsorship development, content creation, artist relations, and community activations.
A huge part of the journey has also been creating space for underrepresented voices, especially women and diverse creatives within production and entertainment spaces that often go unseen. Whether it’s through vegan community events like Rooted In Culture, film projects, marketing campaigns, or large-scale event production work, my goal has always been to build things that feel intentional, collaborative, and impactful while staying rooted in authenticity and culture.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. One of the biggest challenges was rebuilding after stepping away from my previous agency after seven years. In many ways, I had to start over – rebuilding connections, rebuilding momentum, and honestly, rebuilding confidence in myself and my voice within these industries.
Around that time, I also moved back to Miami from Orlando after taking a much-needed personal reset and healing period. My mental and physical health had taken a toll that I was not prepared for. Every day was a step towards gaining self-love, trust and confidence again. That transition gave me clarity, but it also came with the reality of re-entering fast-paced creative and production spaces while trying to establish a new identity outside of what I had previously built.
Another challenge has been self-funding everything from the ground up. Poderosa Minded has been built very independently and intentionally, which means there were moments of balancing multiple roles at once – creative, producer, strategist, coordinator, marketer, and business owner – while still trying to create meaningful work and long-term sustainability. As a newer agency, it naturally takes time to build steady flow, trust, and infrastructure.
At the same time, those challenges shaped the foundation of what PM is today a year later. They pushed me to become more resourceful, more intentional about the spaces and people I align with, and more confident in creating opportunities instead of waiting for them. Looking back now, I think the rebuilding process taught me just as much as the success itself.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Poderosa Minded is a creative agency and production company rooted in storytelling, culture, community, and strategic execution. We specialize in blending marketing, media, PR, event production, and creative direction in a way that feels both intentional and human. A lot of what we do lives at the intersection of creativity and operations – helping brands, artists, businesses, and community-driven projects not only look good, but actually build meaningful connections and experiences.
Our work ranges from digital campaigns, social media strategy, content production, and PR support to live events, artist relations, sponsorship development, community activations, and behind-the-scenes production coordination. We’ve supported everything from independent creatives and local businesses to large-scale festivals, nightlife, film projects, and cultural events throughout South Florida and beyond.
I think what sets PM apart is that we don’t approach projects from a one-size-fits-all marketing perspective. We genuinely care about the energy, mission, and long-term vision behind the people and brands we work with. Because of my background across multiple industries and creative spaces, I’m able to understand both the artistic and logistical sides of bringing ideas to life. That balance allows us to move fluidly between creative direction and real execution.
Brand-wise, one of the things I’m most proud of is building something that feels authentic to who I am and the communities I come from. PM was never created just to “sell services.” It was built to create opportunities, amplify voices, support collaboration, and remind people that culture and creativity deserve to be treated with intention and care. Whether we’re producing an event, helping launch a campaign, supporting a film project, or creating space for community experiences like Rooted In Culture, the goal is always to leave people feeling connected to something meaningful.
I’d want readers to know that PM is still growing and evolving, but that’s also part of what makes it special. We’re building with purpose, adaptability, and heart at the center of everything we do.
How do you think about happiness?
What makes me happiest is genuinely seeing people feel inspired, connected, and supported in who they are and what they want to create. I love encouraging others to pursue their dreams and passions, especially when they may not fully believe in themselves yet. There’s something really fulfilling about helping people see possibilities for their lives, businesses, art, or ideas that they may have been afraid to pursue before.
A huge part of my happiness also comes from creating experiences where people can simply have a good time and feel present. Whether it’s through live events, music, community gatherings, or creative spaces, I love watching people connect, dance, laugh, network, and create memories together. Live music and entertainment have always brought me a sense of energy and inspiration.
Acts of service are also deeply important to me, especially within the disability community and community-centered initiatives overall. Giving back my time, resources, and support in ways that can genuinely help others has always grounded me and reminded me what really matters.
On a personal level, I’ve also learned the importance of reconnecting with youthfulness, creativity, and joy outside of constant work. Cooking is honestly one of my biggest forms of therapy. I love spending time in the kitchen experimenting with vegan meals, flavors, and healthier alternatives. It gives me space to slow down, create, and recharge mentally.
Traveling is another thing that makes me feel alive and inspired. I still feel like I have so much of the world left to experience and learn from, and I’m excited to continue growing through those experiences personally and creatively.
