Hi Lucas, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was born and raised in Argentina, and from a very young age I learned that nothing in life comes easy. Growing up through difficult financial moments taught me resilience early on and gave me a mindset that has stayed with me my entire life: no matter how hard things get, you keep moving forward.
At 25 years old, I made one of the biggest decisions of my life and moved to the United States in search of opportunity and growth. Starting over at that stage of life was not easy. Like many immigrants, I arrived with very little money, limited English, and a lot of uncertainty. I didn’t have a clear roadmap — just determination, faith, and the willingness to work harder than ever before.
Those first years were far from glamorous. I worked physically demanding jobs, lived very modestly, and spent countless hours trying to improve my English and continue my education. There were moments where money was extremely tight, and although I worked very hard, I was fortunate to have my aunt supporting me with a roof over my head and food during some of the most difficult periods of my life. That support meant everything to me and gave me the stability to continue pushing forward when things felt uncertain.
One of the biggest lessons I learned during that time is that growth happens when you’re uncomfortable. I became obsessed with learning, improving, and creating a better future for myself. Eventually, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Supervision and Management with a concentration in Human Resources from Miami Dade College, becoming the first person in my family to graduate from college. That moment meant a lot to me because it represented years of sacrifice finally paying off.
Professionally, I always tried to outwork expectations and look for opportunities to grow. While working in the accounting and payroll industry, I started seeing bigger opportunities beyond just doing the job itself. Over time, through relationships, trust, and hard work, I was offered the opportunity to become a partner and take over a group of clients. That became the foundation for building my own company.
What started small slowly grew through consistency, relationships, and genuinely caring about helping clients succeed. Over the years, the company continued to expand and support businesses with payroll and operational services across different industries. Recently, after years of growth and dedication, we entered into a strategic transition with one of the largest leaders in the payroll industry. For me, that moment represented much more than business growth — it was the result of years of sacrifice, perseverance, and believing in a vision during uncertain times.
Beyond payroll and business operations, I also hold a real estate license and enjoy continuously exploring new opportunities for growth, business, and investment.
Outside of business, I’ve also dedicated a lot of time to my community. Since 2022, I’ve served on the board of my condominium association, first as Treasurer and now as President. Being able to help improve and lead a community that people call home has been incredibly meaningful to me.
I’m extremely grateful to this country and the opportunities it gave me. My journey taught me that in the United States, hard work, consistency, and perseverance truly can change your life. It doesn’t happen overnight, but if you stay disciplined and continue pushing forward, opportunities do appear.
Above all, I’m very thankful to God and to every person He placed in my path throughout my journey. Every person who supported me, taught me something, believed in me, challenged me, or gave me an opportunity played a role in helping me grow into the person I am today. I truly believe that no success happens alone.
Looking back, I think my story is really about perseverance. It’s proof that you don’t need a perfect start, connections, or a straight path to build something meaningful. Sometimes all you need is the courage to take the first step, the humility to keep learning, and the discipline to continue even when nobody sees the work behind the scenes.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Definitely not. Looking back, the road was full of challenges, uncertainty, sacrifices, and moments where I honestly didn’t know how things were going to work out.
Starting over in the United States at 25 years old was probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. I arrived with very little money, limited English, no clear plan, and had to completely rebuild my life from scratch. I worked physically demanding jobs, lived very modestly, and spent years balancing work, education, and learning a new language at the same time.
There were moments where I felt stuck, moments where financially things were very difficult, and moments where I questioned myself. Building a business also came with a lot of pressure and responsibility. Entrepreneurship looks exciting from the outside, but behind the scenes there are years of long nights, stress, sacrifices, risks, and learning through mistakes.
At the same time, those struggles shaped me. They taught me resilience, discipline, humility, and how to adapt under pressure. They also taught me that success rarely happens overnight. Most meaningful things are built little by little through consistency, relationships, hard work, and faith.
Today, I’m actually grateful for many of those difficult moments because they forced me to grow into the person and entrepreneur I am today.
