Today we’d like to introduce you to Rebecca J. Brock.
Hi Rebecca J., so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
After I attended Penn State University, I began my professional career in the fast-paced world of high fashion modeling. I’ve has been featured in various magazines, catalogs, ad campaigns and international magazine covers. In 1999 I joined the Screen Actors Guild, and I’ve been featured in numerous television commercials as well a a music video. I’ve lived all over the world, from New York City to Paris, France.
In 2014 I was approached by the editor of Simply The Best Magazine, out of Boca Raton, FL, and was asked to write a funny column about dating in south Florida. I continued to write bi-monthly for this magazine for seven years. Many of my articles from the magazine can be found on my blog: www.heartcentereduniverse.com.
In 2021, I got my real estate license in Florida and entered the real estate industry as a sales associate. I throughly enjoyed helping people find homes they love, and I plan to invest in real estate in the future.
After my son Sammy passed away suddenly in 2019, I began to communicate with him-much to my shock and surprise! But I realized that I have had this ability my entire life, I had just dismissed it. I knew I needed to write a memoir of the experience and what led up to it, in order to help other people who have lost a loved one. My current project is my Youtube channel “Tarot Magic Intuitive Guidance”, where I use my psychic abilities and share the wisdom I’ve learned in order to help others navigating the complexities of spiritual awakenings.
I currently reside in Miami Beach, FL, and have two grown sons. I still model and act, and I am working on other writing projects,. I have plans to travel the world! I’m embracing life-and JOY, and have made the decision to overcome any challenges that lie ahead!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There has always been struggles, and people often dismiss me as “crazy”. Those with psychic abilities are always a target, simply because of the pure evil that some people are doing behind the scenes that can (and will!) be exposed. If these people understood that the entire spiritual realm can see what they’re doing and that they already know the intentions of their hearts, they might have made better choices. But life is too short to care about what other people think or to worry about the haters! I am here to fulfill my life mission, and nothing else matters to me. The heartbreak and grief I’ve experienced in this lifetime was a path my soul chose, because it is a part of my soul’s mission here on earth. I realized that no amount of healing (or running/trying to escape) will ever make grief “go away”…because it’s not meant to! We are meant to learn how to live with it, and figure out how to turn our pain into our power and purpose. At the very least we can use it as our drive and motivation to accomplish what our soul came to earth to do.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’ve always been a very creative person. If I’m not creating, I become depressed! My memoir is the work I’m most proud of, and what I’m known for. Writing it also helped me to heal, and after reading some of the reviews on Amazon, I KNOW it has led to others having a profound and eye opening experience. I’m very passionate about my current project, Tarot Magic Intuitive Guidance YouTube channel, because I get to just be myself. What makes me different is I’m not afraid to be seen as weird, or eccentric. “First they ignore you. Then they laugh at you. Then they attack you. Then you win.” I don’t know who first said this, but I’m currently being laughed at and attacked, but I remain unbothered. It actually gives me my motivation to KEEP GOING! I’m on to something here!
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters to me most besides my family is for me to actually DO what my soul came here to DO. It may sound odd, but I’m on a mission from God! I follow His guidance no matter how hard it is, because I know He has my back! I couldn’t have made it through my life so far, without having the strong relationship with God that I do. My patience and faith is tested at times, but ultimately I know I can do ANYTHING with God by my side. People don’t realize we all have spirit guides and angels at our beckon call-all we really need to do is ASK for their help.
