Inspiring Conversations with Enasha Anglade of LaughLoveLive Again

Today we’d like to introduce you to Enasha Anglade.

Hi Enasha, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My journey into this work has been deeply personal, purpose-driven, and shaped by both professional training and lived experience. Before founding LaughLoveLive Again, I was navigating a major transition in my own life as a new mother while also exiting an abusive relationship. During that time, I became deeply interested in domestic violence, trauma, and, later, the long-term impact that chronic stress and emotional instability can have on both adults and children.

Even while healing and rebuilding, I found myself wanting to understand more – not only about survivors and perpetrators, but also about the behavioral patterns, emotional regulation difficulties, and environmental factors that contribute to cycles of violence and dysfunction. I wanted to find meaningful work that allowed me to help others while also creating a stable and flexible future for my own children outside of a traditional 9–5 path.

That journey eventually led me into the fields of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), psychology, trauma-informed care, neuropsychology, and Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACTr). I became especially passionate about understanding how behavior, cognition, emotional regulation, executive functioning, psychological flexibility, and environmental experiences all interact. My interest in trauma- and neuropsychology-informed ABA and ACT/ACTr-based approaches continues to shape the way I view behavioral care: looking beyond surface-level behaviors and focusing more deeply on the underlying processes driving them.

As I gained experience in the field, I noticed that many families needed more than traditional behavioral support alone. They needed compassionate, individualized care that considered the whole person, family dynamics, emotional experiences, cognitive functioning, and environmental stressors. That realization became one of, and continues to be, the driving forces behind building and growing LaughLoveLive Again.

Today, as a BCBA, doctoral student in clinical psychology, and founder of LaughLoveLive Again, my work focuses on integrating evidence-based behavioral approaches with trauma-informed, neuropsychology-informed, and emotionally attuned care. We support children and families through behavioral services, executive functioning support, emotional regulation strategies, parent collaboration, social-emotional development, and individualized interventions designed to promote long-term growth and stability.

Building this company while raising children and pursuing doctoral training has been one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my life. What continues to drive me is the belief that healing, growth, and meaningful change are possible when people feel genuinely supported, understood, and empowered and, of course, the desire to show my children what Superwomen look like.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not at all! There have definitely been challenges along the way, both personally and professionally. Building a business while raising children, pursuing doctoral training in clinical psychology, and rebuilding my life after leaving an abusive relationship required a level of resilience and adaptability that I honestly did not fully understand until I lived through it.

In the early stages, one of the biggest struggles was balancing everything at once. I was trying to grow professionally while also healing personally, parenting, managing financial pressures, and navigating the uncertainty that comes with entrepreneurship. Starting a business can already feel overwhelming, but doing it while carrying the emotional weight of major life transitions added another layer entirely.

Professionally, one challenge I encountered was trying to create a company that didn’t feel overly rigid or disconnected from the human side of care. In behavioral health fields, it can sometimes feel easy for services to become highly clinical or checklist-driven, and I knew I wanted LaughLoveLive Again to feel different. I wanted families and staff to feel seen, heard, and genuinely supported. Not just managed through a treatment plan or a performance review. Building a trauma-informed and neuropsychology-informed approach to ABA while also integrating principles from ACTr required a lot of ongoing learning, refinement, and intentionality.

Another challenge has been learning how to grow sustainably. As someone who genuinely cares deeply about people, I had to learn that boundaries, structure, delegation, and self-care are essential and not only for myself, but for the long-term health of the company and the quality of care we provide. Entrepreneurship teaches you very quickly that passion alone is not enough. You also need systems, patience, consistency, and the willingness to evolve.

At the same time, those struggles shaped the foundation of who I am today. They strengthened my empathy, deepened my understanding of the families I work with, and reinforced the importance of creating supportive environments where people can grow without shame. Looking back, I don’t think I would approach this work with the same level of compassion or perspective had the road been easy.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
LaughLoveLive Again is a behavioral health and mental health company focused on helping children and families build meaningful, sustainable life skills through compassionate, individualized care. We provide ABA services along with executive functioning support, emotional regulation strategies, social skills training, parent collaboration, behavioral consultation, and daily living skill development for children and adolescents across South Florida.

What makes our approach different is that we intentionally integrate behavioral science with trauma-informed care, neuropsychology-informed perspectives, and principles from Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACTr). We recognize that behavior does not happen in isolation. Many of the children and families we support are navigating emotional stress, environmental instability, anxiety, executive functioning challenges, family transitions, school difficulties, medical complexities, or neuro/developmental differences that require a more thoughtful and individualized approach.

Rather than focusing only on reducing behaviors, we focus heavily on understanding the “why” behind behaviors while helping children build emotional awareness, flexibility, independence, confidence, communication skills, and practical coping strategies that improve their quality of life long-term. We also place a strong emphasis on parent support and collaboration because meaningful progress happens most effectively when families feel empowered and included in the process.

One thing I’m especially proud of brand-wise is that LaughLoveLive Again was built from a very human place. The company was created not only from professional passion, but also from lived experiences involving healing, resilience, rebuilding, and wanting to create something meaningful for families who may feel overwhelmed or unsupported. That foundation influences the culture of our company and the way we approach care every day.

I’m also proud that we’ve continued evolving beyond a traditional ABA model. We are actively developing more clinically integrated and executive-functioning-focused programming that blends behavioral approaches with emotional regulation support, trauma awareness, and psychological flexibility skills. My long-term vision is for the company to continue growing into a space where behavioral health, emotional wellness, family support, and practical life skills can all be addressed in a collaborative and compassionate way.

Above all, I want readers to know that our mission is rooted in helping children and families feel understood, capable, supported, and hopeful again.

All of these factors make us different from the rest.

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
People can work with us in several different ways depending on their needs and goals. At LaughLoveLive Again, we currently provide individualized behavioral and developmental support services for children and families throughout South Florida, including ABA therapy, executive functioning support, social skills training, behavioral consultation, parent collaboration, and daily living skills support. Families can reach out directly through our website at laughloveliveagain.com to learn more about services, consultations, and current availability or this link https://clinical.passagehealth.com/public/form/fee973d2-bd91-4bfe-be51-c75f01ae4a0a to complete our intake form so a dedicated member of our team can help get them started with services based on their needs. Families can also reach out to us through our social media platforms (Instagram: @laughlovelive_again, TikTok: @laughloveliveagain, Facebook: LaughLoveLive Again, and YouTube: LaughLoveLive Again), though, admittedly I am working on improving our social media presence since I am not a social media person. Families can also reach out to via email at [email protected] or [email protected].

We also love collaborating with schools, mental health professionals, community organizations, healthcare providers, and other multidisciplinary teams that share a commitment to supporting children and families in meaningful, compassionate ways. A large part of our mission involves bridging gaps between behavioral health, emotional wellness, trauma-informed care, and practical family support systems, so collaboration is something we value deeply.

Being transparent, the field of ABA therapy is highly-saturated in South Florida. I find comfort in knowing that there are more board certified clinicians opening up practices and providing quality and ethical care compared to the larger private equity corporations that view quality and ethics efforts as fat that needs trimming. However, we BCBA owned and operated business do not receive as much recognition and our services not as highlighted because of the overtaking shadows of the larger corporations. I would love for the smaller businesses like mine to get more recognition and more attention and not get lost in the shadows. So any way to support us in partnerships or including LaughLoveLive Again as a priority referral source for ABA therapy would be helpful beyond words.

As the company continues to grow, I’m especially interested in expanding partnerships related to executive functioning, trauma-informed behavioral care, domestic violence awareness and prevention, parent education, and neuropsychology-informed programming for children and adolescents. I’m passionate about creating spaces where behavioral science can be applied in ways that are both clinically effective and genuinely human-centered.

For readers who want to support us, one of the biggest ways is simply by sharing our mission, connecting families to us as a resource, supporting us as a small business in the behavioral health and ABA space, and helping increase awareness around the importance of accessible, compassionate care for children and families. I truly believe community collaboration has the power to create lasting impact, and I’m always excited to connect with others who share similar values and goals.
