Inspiring Conversations with Jenna Ellegood of The Face Space

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jenna Ellegood.

Hi Jenna, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Growing up, especially in high school, I really struggled with confidence—mostly tied to my skin and how I looked. I was very aware of my insecurities and spent a lot of time trying to fix them, without realizing that experience would later become the foundation of my career.

As I got older, I became obsessed with understanding skincare on a deeper level—not just for appearance, but for how it impacts confidence. That passion led me to esthetics school, where I became licensed and stepped into the professional beauty world.

Working in spas, I gained hands-on experience treating acne, texture, and sensitivity, but what stood out most was the confidence shift in my clients. I knew I wanted to build something more intentional—something rooted in results, education, and connection.

That’s what led me to create The Face Space in Palm Beach Gardens. Today, I focus on corrective skincare, treatments, and beauty services that help people feel confident in their skin again. It’s full circle for me—what once felt like my biggest insecurity is now the thing that allows me to help others transform theirs.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, it definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road.

Early on, I found myself in environments that didn’t always feel fully aligned, which pushed me to really trust my own vision and direction even when it wasn’t fully understood.

I also remember being in spaces where everyone around me was on a traditional academic path, and I was in beauty school. At the time, there was definitely judgment, but it’s been really full circle seeing many of those same people now come to me for skincare advice and services.

On top of that, I’ve had to navigate a lot of noise in the skincare industry—fear-based marketing, overused terms, and misinformation that can make it confusing for clients to know what actually works. That’s why I’ve always leaned into education, transparency, and real results.

All of those experiences shaped me into building The Face Space in a way that feels intentional, honest, and rooted in real skin health and confidence.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about The Face Space?
My business, The Face Space, is a corrective skincare studio in Palm Beach Gardens, but honestly it feels more like a reset space for your skin and your confidence.

I work with acne, texture, sensitivity—basically the skin that’s been overdone, confused, or just not responding anymore. My approach is really simple: I don’t believe in doing the most. I believe in doing what actually makes sense for your skin and sticking with it long enough to see change.

I’m very hands-on and very real with people. I treat clients like humans, not transactions. If something is unnecessary, I’ll say it. If you don’t need ten products, I’m not going to pretend you do. You don’t need to buy a shelf full of products from me to get results.

What I’ve realized is most people don’t need more skincare—they need clarity. They need someone to actually slow it down, look at their skin properly, and stop the noise.

That’s what I’m proud of. Not overcomplicating it. Just getting people back to skin that feels calm, healthy, and like themselves again.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The biggest lesson I’ve learned in both business and life is how important it is to trust myself, even when there’s a lot of outside noise or opinions. I’m very big on education over influence, and over time I’ve learned to filter out what doesn’t align and really stay grounded in my own experience and what I see working in front of me.

In business, that’s shown up in learning not to overcomplicate things—whether it’s skincare, client experience, or growth. Simplicity, consistency, and integrity have taken me further than trying to do everything or follow every trend.

On a personal level, it’s also taught me confidence. Not needing validation from every room I walk into, staying focused on my own path, and understanding that just because something is loud doesn’t mean it’s right for me.
