Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Kotzadimitriou.
Stephanie , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
So back in 2016 I was charged for an offence that stopped me from finding work. I didn’t commit the crime however I was charged with it and based on that I’ve got a lot of backlash from friends and family which made me really insecure about moving forward of my life I had a lot of job projections and I had insecurities about applying for a job because I would always get turned down based on my criminal history due to the fact they did not know my story. Everyone just took what they seen on paper on board and didn’t get to know me as a person. I didn’t really have much options to keep me positive so I decided to start up an Instagram and start posting pictures one so I felt secure because of my appearance and the scar I have on my stomach and too because I felt like I needed to do it to keep me busy because I was bored and depressed sitting at home all day, I started creating content in 2019 as a hobby mainly sharing fashion beauty and lifestyle because I was insecure about myself so I wanted to make myself feel better by creating great photos that I can look back on every time. I’m feeling insecure about my parents at the time I was never focused on growth. I was just enjoying posting and sharing parts of my everyday life overtime. I said consistent and began to understand what the content resonated with people and what didn’t I had a few post that gained unexpected attention. Which encouraged me to take content creation more seriously from that I focused on improving the quality of my content being consistent and engaging with all my audience as my page grew. I started receiving opportunities to collaborate with brands which helped turned my passion into something more professional now I continue to create content in the space of my home with brains that align with my style and audience.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I have definitely struggled along the way and have had a lot of backlash from what I post and what content I create based on my past lifestyle and people who would comment nasty words underneath my post or would make fake profile accounts about me? I also have been knocked back for some brands that I didn’t expect to be knocked back from however the brains that I expected would knock me back. Actually took me on board I definitely dealt with a lot of insecurities as well due to my scar on my stomach so I had struggled with that along the way and just learning to except my appearance more so I have a lot of backlash when it comes to the media and what they write about me most of the stories that are written about me are far from the truth however I’m guessing they just need to get more views so a lot of people that see my social media can’t help but comment things that are written on Google and when that is brought up I do get real insecure.

Based on my social media and the content creation and years of experience I have then turned that into a job by creating content for retailers and nightclubs thus learning how to market a product or market a business to the right audience
Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
No, I just imagine something in my head and what I would like to do and then I do everything I can to make it happen and be successful
