Today we’d like to introduce you to Ariana The Techie.
Hi Ariana, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I moved to Miami in 2021 along with many of the Miami Tech “covid newbies” wave. I joined a business accelerator with Miami OG’s and new transplants who were just like me. Life changed for me so quickly. I went on to work for one of Miami’s largest real estate inventors and Billionaire, Moishe Mana on his technology team, that is now called Mana Tech. At the time I help develop the initial infrastructure for an internal mobile application they were developing.
Months later I would then join the Hf0 startup accelerator program where they select only 13 engineers out of thousands from around the world, to live in a house with 2 Venture Capitalist and 12 other founders to build a company and raise capital within 12 weeks. Three months after the program I would go onto raise over $3M for my previous venture backed startup, Mueshi.
Miami helped build me and I am forever grateful for this city!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Life was not perfect. At the time I was 24, turning 25 years old. Navigating a recent divorce and had only $250 to my name after rent expenses. When I moved to Miami it was a time in my life where I knew that God had called me to do something different and with the confidence that will completely altar my future.
I navigated both personal and professional challenges that for many people would have given up on. But one thing Miami will quickly teach is you either SINK or you SWIM. And I have been swimming ever since. The Lord is faithful and hard work, works.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
After being in tech for 15 years and a 3X Tech Founder. I now spend my time coaching other Founders from around the world on how to raise Venture Capital and building technology for their startups. For 15 years I served as both a product manager and software engineer so I have a very unique range of skillsets that are relatable to a wide variety of industries to be able to successfully support Founders. And of course I have other private ventures I’ve been building and working on that are exciting and I’ll be launching more publicly soon!
I am most proud of the relationships I have been able to build, maintain, and grow over my time in Miami. Business is all about people. Treating people right, making money together and doing it repeatedly for decades. This is how you know the value of a Founder, not just what they can do once but what they can come back and do every time they swing their bat at life.
Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
The most important thing to know is that no matter what you are going through keep Jesus first, treat other with respect and never stop learning and building. I read a quote the other day that said only the people who are crazy enough to believe they can change the world-change the world.
And it is certainly true.
