Today we’d like to introduce you to Veronica Seabrooks.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
In 2023, I became a stay-at-home mom, and during that season of life, Costco became a huge part of our routine. It was also a season where I was learning who I was in this new chapter of life as a stay-at-home mom. My kids and I would go several times a week not even just to shop, but because we genuinely loved being there. From walking the aisles looking at new finds to grabbing food at the food court together, it became one of our favorite little family outings.
I’ve always loved Costco, and before long, my kids loved it just as much as I did. I’ve always had the desire to get into content creation, but I kept thinking, what better way to start than by creating content in a place I already love spending time in? That’s how Costco Savvy began.
What started as sharing fun finds and products I was excited about quickly grew into a community of people who also love discovering great Costco finds, deals, and hidden gems. Over time, I became more intentional with my content, focused on consistency, and built a platform centered around authenticity and genuinely helping people find products they’d love, too.
Today, I’m grateful that something that started as simple trips to Costco with my kids has turned into a growing platform and business doing something I truly enjoy every day.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Like anything built from the ground up, there was a lot of learning and adjusting along the way. When I first started, I didn’t really know much about content creation. I was simply sharing things I genuinely enjoyed.
One of the biggest challenges has been balancing everything as a stay-at-home mom while also trying to create content consistently. Finding the time, staying organized, and being intentional with content creation wasn’t always easy, especially in a season of life that is already full.
At the same time, I’ve always found joy in creating content. Even during the more challenging moments, I truly enjoyed the process and sharing things I love. I’ve learned to trust the process, even when growth felt slow or inconsistent, and to stay focused on the bigger picture.
Over time, I’ve learned how to better manage my time, be more strategic, and stay consistent in a way that works for my life. Those challenges have ultimately helped shape both my content and my approach, and I’m grateful for how far things have come.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Before becoming a content creator, I graduated from Florida State University with my Master’s in Social Work. I worked in the social work field prior to becoming a stay-at-home mom, which was a very meaningful part of my career and shaped a lot of who I am today.
While my career path has shifted, my background in social work continues to influence how I show up now, especially in the way I connect with people, stay grounded, and focus on creating content that feels helpful and real.
Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
My biggest advice for anyone just starting out is to stay consistent and give yourself grace in the beginning. When I first started, I didn’t overthink everything. I just focused on sharing what I genuinely enjoyed and showing up consistently, even when it felt like no one was watching.
I wish I had known earlier that growth takes time and that the early stages are really about learning. It’s easy to compare yourself to others who are further along, but everyone’s journey is different, and consistency matters more than perfection.
I’ve also learned that authenticity goes a long way. The more real and relatable you are, the more people connect with you. You don’t need to have everything figured out, you just need to start and keep going.
Looking back, I would tell myself to trust the process more and not get discouraged by slow growth. Every post, every attempt, and every learning moment builds something over time.
