Life & Work with Raymond Rosales of Miami / South Florida

Today we’d like to introduce you to Raymond Rosales.

Hi Raymond, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My professional journey has been anything but traditional, and honestly, that’s what makes it so meaningful. I started my career over 25 years ago in graphic design, branding, and marketing, working with businesses of all sizes and helping brands connect with people through strong visual communication. Over time, I expanded into inside sales, and later into the medical and insurance industries, which gave me a completely different perspective on building relationships, listening to people’s needs, and earning trust.

A big turning point in my life came when I met my wife, who is an incredibly talented wedding photographer and owner of Ganesha Photo here in South Florida. As I began helping her at weddings—meeting couples, working alongside vendors, and seeing so many ceremonies—I naturally became curious about the officiant side of the industry. After working with several officiants over the years, my wife actually said, “You’d be really good at this.” That planted the seed.

In 2021, I became an ordained minister and started officiating ceremonies here and there. What began as something I did occasionally quickly turned into something I genuinely loved. Over the past year, I decided to fully commit and take it seriously, building my presence as a wedding officiant and creating ceremonies that feel personal, meaningful, and memorable.

Being bilingual in English and Spanish has been a huge advantage, especially here in South Florida where so many couples and families are bilingual or primarily Spanish-speaking. I’ve found that being able to connect with people in their own language helps create a deeper level of comfort, trust, and authenticity on one of the most important days of their lives.

For me, this work brings together everything I’ve done throughout my career—creativity, communication, sales, people skills, and the ability to make others feel seen and celebrated—and that’s what makes it so rewarding.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s definitely been a learning experience. One of my biggest challenges in the beginning was stepping outside of my comfort zone and speaking in front of people. Even though I had spent years in professional roles, being the person leading such an important and emotional moment was a different kind of responsibility. Thankfully, my background in inside sales really helped with that transition. It taught me how to connect with people, communicate with confidence, and think on my feet—skills that have made me feel much more natural and comfortable officiating wedding ceremonies.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’ve always been known as someone who is creative and artistic. Art and design have been a big part of who I am for as long as I can remember, and I believe that’s something my wife and I naturally share. Beyond the creative side, I’ve also discovered that being of service to others brings me a deep sense of purpose, fulfillment, and genuine joy—especially when I’m able to be part of meaningful moments in people’s lives.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
I’ve always believed in collaboration and in the idea that there’s more than enough opportunity for everyone to succeed. That’s especially true in the wedding industry, where you have the chance to build meaningful relationships, network, and learn from other talented professionals. You never know when you might need advice, support, or an extra helping hand, so having a strong circle of trusted people and a positive sphere of influence is something I truly value.
