Daily Inspiration: Meet Ornella Saada

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ornella Saada.

Hi Ornella, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always been deeply connected to art, emotion, and storytelling, but my journey truly evolved through transformation.

Originally from France, I built my artistic vision through personal experiences, motherhood, resilience, and a desire to create beauty from complexity. My work is highly intuitive and textured — exploring silence, memory, femininity, spirituality, and rebirth through minimal yet emotionally powerful compositions.

Over the years, my artistic path has expanded internationally through exhibitions, collaborations, and immersive experiences. I had the honor of being an artist partner at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, as well as participating in Miami Art Week, experiences that deeply shaped my creative and curatorial vision.

Moving to South Florida opened an entirely new chapter for me. Alongside developing my own body of work, I began creating refined artistic events and immersive spaces where art, conversation, culture, and human connection come together — especially through experiences designed to empower and inspire women.

Today, I continue to grow my work internationally while developing new exhibitions, collaborations, and long-term projects connected to art, healing, luxury experiences, and cultural impact. For me, art is not only visual — it’s a language, a form of transformation, and a way to bring light, emotion, and meaning into people’s lives and spaces.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road, but I believe challenges have shaped both my voice and my work in a meaningful way.

Like many artists and entrepreneurs, I’ve had to navigate uncertainty, reinvention, and the emotional weight that comes with building something deeply personal. Moving countries, balancing motherhood with creativity, and creating opportunities independently required a lot of resilience and discipline.

There were moments where I had to learn how to protect my vision, trust my intuition, and continue creating even during difficult periods of life. But in many ways, those experiences became part of the foundation of my artistic language.

I think art becomes more powerful when it carries truth, emotion, and transformation. Every challenge pushed me to grow — not only as an artist, but also as a woman, a mother, and a person building something with purpose.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I create contemporary mixed-media works that move between expressive portraiture, minimalism, and abstraction. Although the visual styles can vary, they are all connected by the same intention: creating art that carries emotion, energy, light, and human connection.

Some of my works are vibrant and expressive portraits filled with color, movement, and texture, while others are more minimalist or abstract, focused on atmosphere, balance, and emotion through simplicity. I’m very drawn to contrast — intensity and silence, spontaneity and restraint, raw textures and refined compositions.

My work is deeply intuitive. I’m interested in creating pieces that people can feel emotionally rather than simply observe visually. Even in more minimal works, there is always an underlying sense of presence, optimism, depth, or reflection.

I often explore themes such as resilience, joy, transformation, memory, and the emotional energy that connects people. I want my work to bring something uplifting and alive into a space while still feeling sophisticated and timeless.

Beyond the studio, I’m also developing curated artistic experiences and creative projects centered around art, aesthetics, and meaningful connection.

What I’m most proud of is building an artistic universe that feels authentic and emotionally resonant while remaining visually refined. I never wanted to limit myself to one category or create work simply to follow trends.

I believe what sets my work apart is the balance between emotional intensity and elegance. Whether through colorful portraits, minimalist compositions, or abstraction, my goal is always to create work that leaves a lasting feeling.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is that every person has the ability to transform their environment through the energy they bring into the world.

I truly believe that creativity, joy, kindness, and faith are not small things — they have real power. Through my journey, I learned that even during periods of uncertainty or personal transformation, we still have the choice to create light, beauty, and meaning around us.

I’ve become very inspired by the idea that growth begins when we stop seeing obstacles as the end of the story and start seeing them as invitations to evolve into a deeper version of ourselves. That mindset changed the way I live, create, and connect with people.

Art taught me that emotion can heal, that beauty can elevate people, and that authenticity always resonates more deeply than perfection.

Today, I try to approach both life and my work with intention, optimism, and gratitude. I think one of the greatest forms of strength is remaining open-hearted, inspired, and connected to purpose while continuing to move forward and create.
